MANILA, Philippines — Hong Kong piled on the pressure during overtime to dismantle San Miguel, 99-91, in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup on Sunday night.
Glen Yang scored seven of his 26 points in overtime at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City as Eastern returned to winning ways after falling to NorthPort earlier this week.

Import Chris McLaughlin had 18 points and 11 rebounds, Hayden Blankley 15 and 5 in the effort that also kept the Beermen from winning in the two heavyweights’ face-off in the PBA and Asian Super League from the East.

New import Jabari Nacris had 28 points and 10 rebounds, cornerstone June Mar Fajardo on the 23rd and 18th, while CJ Perez and Marcio Lassiter added at least 13 points each as the powerhouse club suffered its first setback under the leadership of returning coach Leo Austria, slipping to a 3-3 win-loss tie in the race.
Both clubs will return to action next year.
