John Cena is arguably one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. The Cenation leader is expected to hang up his boots after playing his final match at the Saturday Night Main Event on December 13. Ahead of the final weeks of Cena’s retirement tour, AEW star Deonna Purrazzo made a hilarious confession declaring that she wanted to marry him.
Deonna Purrazzo is one of the most iconic wrestlers in TNA Wrestling. She is a former three-time Knockouts Champion in the company. She is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling where she makes sporadic appearances on Dynamite and Collision while also competing for Ring of Honor.
Purrazzo is from the American city of New Jersey. Some X fans teased her for supporting the New England Patriots even though she was from New Jersey. The AEW star joked that she wanted to marry Cena growing up and thus began supporting the Patriots just like him.
“Listen…I grew up during the Dynasty AND I wanted to marry John Cena. He said he was a Patriots fan – so obviously if I was too, we’d have something in common. Turns out they won a few Super Bowls in the meantime.😉,” she wrote.
It’s hilarious to see the Virtuosa make such a hilarious confession before Cena’s upcoming retirement.
John Cena will return on next week’s episode of WWE RAW
During the final Saturday Night Main Event, WWE announced a 16-man tournament to determine Cena’s final opponent. The tournament will begin from next week’s episode of RAW with 2 first round matches.
Next week’s show will air live from Cena’s hometown of Boston. The last true champion will also appear on the show, possibly setting up a match for Survivor Series: WarGames.
Rusev will face Damian Priest and Shinsuke Nakamura will face Sheamus in first round matches of the Last Time is Now tournament. It will be interesting to see which star will have the honor of being the final opponent in John Cena’s wrestling career.
