Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have quietly left the UK as their father Prince Andrew faces losing his royal titles and being kicked out of Royal Lodge. The sisters, who retain their own royal titles, were pictured on separate trips abroad shortly before Buckingham Palace confirmed the king’s decision.

Eugenie, 35, was seen enjoying a getaway to Paris on October 26, sharing a photo showing the Seine and the Eiffel Tower in the background. Meanwhile, Beatrice, 37, attended the Future Investment Initiative in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on October 28.

The trips came just before King Charles III announced Thursday that he had formally stripped Andrew’s titles and ordered him to leave his Windsor residence. “Her Majesty has today initiated a formal process to remove the style, titles and honors of Prince Andrew,” Buckingham Palace said in a statement, confirming that he will now be known as Prince Andrew. Andrew MountbattenWindsor.

Andrew’s titles – including Prince, Duke of York, Earl of Inverness and Baron Killyleagh – were revoked, along with his Order of the Garter and Knight Grand Cross of the Victorian Order. He was also instructed to give up his lease of the Royal Lodge and move to other private accommodation on the Sandringham estate.

The decision follows renewed scrutiny of Andrew’s ties to Jeffrey Epstein and comes after his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, was also stripped of her title as Duchess of York. In an earlier statement, Andrew acknowledged that the ongoing allegations against him had become a distraction, adding that he had chosen to “prioritize duty to his family and his country.”

Buckingham Palace reiterated that the King and Queen’s “thoughts and deepest sympathy” were with the victims and survivors of all forms of abuse.
