Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Eva meets Izaya
As we do on Early Release Day, we start with what’s coming in the rest of this week to set up next week’s upcoming action. This is on Wednesday, October 22nd Beyond the gateswe have Eva Thomas (Amber Michelle) meeting a hot new man. He is Isaiah Hawthorne (David Lemmy Freebee), the black sheep brother of Jacob Hawthorne (Jabri Hordges).
Eva and Isaiah meet at Uptown And sparks are flying. There’s a ton of chemistry. This man works at the university. This is the same place where I think Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) is giving lectures. So, we would be surprised that there is someone helping Isaiah that we know nothing about. It could be Vernon, it could be Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom), you never know.
Behind the Gates Spoilers: Nicole is upset and Vanessa is in the movie Deeper with Joey
Dr. Nicole Dupree Richardson (Daphne Dupleix) has a very uncomfortable and unpleasant encounter with Leslie, who is thrilled that she ruined a moment for Dr. Ted Richardson (Maurice Johnson) and Nicole. If you remember, she saw them enter the hotel room and pull the fire alarm. Of course, Eva knew immediately what her mother was doing.
Anita Dupree (Tamara Toney) gets an apology from Nicole. This comes after Leslie and Nicole met each other. So, she could tell her mother, Anita, that she thought for a moment that she and Ted might get back together and she might apologize for, I don’t know, even thinking about it. So, Vanessa has a challenge for Joey on Wednesday. We saw her talking earlier this week to Joey about these other skills of hers that he knew nothing about, like hand cards.
I think Vanessa wants to delve deeper into the illegal stuff. The more her friends warn her, the more Nicole warns her and now Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) warns her, and honestly Vanessa is becoming more alarmist and just wants to get closer to Joey because she went to the casino and immediately pounced on him. So, this is not healthy.
BTG spoilers: Passion, poison and family drama unfold
Thursday, October 23, we have Tomas “Tom” Navarro (Alex Alegria) hurting after a heated night of passion with Katherine “Kat” Richardson (Colby Muhammad). She feels guilty. He remembered that she ran towards him and pounced on him. But what does it weigh? Like 90 lbs maybe. And then the room service metal lid flew off. So I don’t know if she hit him. We’ll see.
Hayley Lawson (Marketa Goings) is on a potentially lucrative fact-finding mission. She gets the poison from Randy to start microdosing Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) into a coronary artery. So I’m very curious, what exactly is Hayley looking for? Maybe she was looking for exactly how much money she would have when it all started.
Beyond the Gates Spoilers: June advises Terrell
June (Jasmine Burke) has some advice for her son Tyrell. And I’m interested in seeing this conversation because he was very reserved with June as his sister Samantha Richardson (Najah Jackson) would go to their mother June a lot.
Tyrell Richardson (Jaden Lucas Miller) doesn’t want to be around her, but Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybone) and Bradley “Smitty” Smith (Mike Manning) came here and don’t think June will be a problem.
So, they agreed that she could be in the kids’ lives to some extent, but so far, it was just Samantha. Tyrell hates his biological mother so much every time he sees her, which is completely understandable given the neglect and what they went through as young children.
Meanwhile, Smitty and Martin are thrilled that they have renewed their wedding vows and that their little family is back together. They are completely happy. The only thing they worry about is Joey coming to ask for money from this promise.
Friday Spoilers Behind the Gates: Desperate deals and shocking confrontations
Friday, October 24, we have a falling out between Vanessa and her son Donnell McBride (Alex Cheeks). As she told Danny, we know Vanessa wants him to go back to college. She had in mind that he would graduate at the same time as his sister. But Donnell has this mentality, that with his father Doug dead, he has to step up and become the man of the house.
Joey even offered him a job. Joey actually seemed to be kind to the kid, which he should have been since he killed his father. You know, salt in the wound, right? I think Vanessa really needs Donnell gone so she can run away and hit Joey all she wants. And do some more crimes. So, I think this is more about her, she doesn’t want any scrutiny on her.
Chelsea Hamilton (Ronnie Rose Mantilla) decides to take care of matters personally. It could be about the state of Danny’s marriage, all the clothes she got rid of that Chelsea’s been complaining about, or her crazy stalker Allison who’s still facing jail time. It could have something to do with the wallet line. Lots of options.
Beyond the Gates Events: Danny updates Ridge Forrester
Danny has an update for Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) about his proposal for a perfume collection. Remember, he wanted Danny and Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) to model together. And Andre doesn’t want to be in front of the camera; He wants to be behind it. He offered to shoot some stuff and he was trying to pitch all this other stuff. So, I’m interested to see if Ridge will give in and accept a compromise because Dani really wants this, and she’ll ramp up the pressure on Andre if he doesn’t compromise and Ridge will only accept both of them.
Jacob is surprised when he sees someone. I am sure it is his brother Isaiah. If he mentioned to Jacob that he met this beautiful girl, Eva, Jacob might say: “Oh, yes, I know her.” Jacob and Eva get along well, so I don’t think he’ll badmouth her to Isaiah other than he might just tell him a little, “Oh, by the way, you know, her crazy mother broke up Nicole and Ted’s marriage.” Joey has an offer to make to Dupree. It’s quirky, it’s interesting. This may be the case for Vernon because they conspired together before in the “redneck murder” case. Or by Dupree, they could be referring to Martin because he is part of the larger Dupree family and owes Joey a favor he promised at some point.
Beyond the Gates October 27-31: November campaigns kick off with a bang!
The week of October 27-31, by the way, the last two days of this week, Thursday and Friday, October 30 and 31, are the beginning of the November campaigns. So, look for a big, big job. Hayley sticks to her plan to kill Bill, but she may be impatient to see the results, even though Randy Parker (Maurice B. Curry) tells her it will take some time. I wonder if Hayley will lose her patience and take it too far, which could eventually lead to her getting caught.
Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne (Ariel Prepetit) hasn’t delved into the blood test. She slammed the laptop shut, then Jacob opened her laptop and saw the test results. I don’t know why Naomi, a lawyer, casually allowed her husband to open her laptop where she might have client files. That would be a huge conflict of interest, especially since he’s a cop. I wonder if there is more to her blood test than simply “pregnant” or “not pregnant.”
Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Vanessa is looking for trouble
Vanessa won’t give up on Joey until he lets her delve deeper into his illegal activities. This to me sounds like Vanessa is going down a grief rabbit hole, but instead of turning to drugs or alcohol, she’s dealing with her bad daddy issues and some criminal mischief. Jacob may open up to Isaiah about his frustrations about Naomi not wanting to have children. I expect Kat will try to warn Isaiah about Eva, but I don’t think that will work.
Leslie continues to seduce Ted, taunt him, and improve her game, but very soon he’ll lay eyes on the very pretty Chinice at work. Derek Baldwin (Ben Gavin) shows medical improvements, as well as his resistance to telling Ashley Morgan (Jane Jacobs). I wonder if Derek will stand in at their wedding, only to watch Ashley walk away because of his lies and deceit. Bale will continue to investigate why Andre was so calm in front of the media a year ago.
