Days of our lives Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) broke down when surrounded and confronted by all her haters, and now appears to be in a catatonic state.
And I have to ask, is Amy Choi’s daughter (Tina Huang) really suffering from a mental health spiral, or is she feigning catatonia as a way to escape the barrage of questioning coming from all directions and consequences?
Days of Our Lives: Sofia gets clean
After Sofia disappears for not long, perhaps half a day, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) find the frightened teen hiding in a vacant room above Brady’s bar. While they were searching, Amy was outside slapping Johnny DiMera (Carson Putman) and trying to blame everyone for Sofia’s misdeeds. But once Steve and Brady took her downstairs, Sofia felt understandably overwhelmed as everyone confronted her and demanded answers at once.
Let’s be real, I guess days Fans knew it wouldn’t be easy or cut and dried to get the truth out of Sofia. But in the end it came clean and told part of the story. As everyone listened, her mother told Amy that she had given birth alone in her bedroom, and she was terrified. Then she took her son to the fire station because she didn’t want to become a mother.
Sophia blamed her mother for trying to control her life and body and take away all of her choices. She also said that Tate Black (Leo Howard) was pushing her to do what he wanted. Sophia even threw something at Johnny, getting angry at him for backing out of the adoption and making her life more difficult and complicated.

But then Brady, Steph, Holly Jonas (Ashley Bozemis), Tate, Johnny, and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) swooped in. Everyone started shooting her with questions, and Sofia panicked. She said she couldn’t take it. She started hitting her head and then collapsed in a heap.
Brady grabbed her and put her on the ground. Fortunately, medical help was there because Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) joined the bar crew in search of answers. Fortunately, Jaffe jumped into action. He went into EMT mode and assessed the situation. Sophia was taken to Salem University Hospital to get some help.

Of course, Javi and Leo are worried about what will happen to their adopted son, Tesoro, now that everything is up in the air with Sofia. We know that Johnny and Chanel were hoping that Sofia would tell the social worker the truth so they could adopt her son.
But with Sophia catatonic, she can’t admit that she wrote that lying letter saying terrible things about Johnny’s interactions with Holly. Sofia sure can’t come clean and say she sent those lewd texts to Johnny from Holly’s phone, too. So these latest crimes have not been confirmed and are ruining the adoption process.
This week on days, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) gave Amy an update on her daughter, Sophia. We saw Sarah tell Amy that Sofia was having some kind of nervous attack. Sarah said Sophia shut down and was showing signs of selective mutism.
This means that she is so nervous that she can’t even speak now. But Sarah will have Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) come in and do a psychiatric evaluation on Sophia to see if this is truly a psychotic break or if it’s something else because Sarah was also concerned about the possibility of some postpartum issues, which she mentioned in a couple of videos before.

We also have to take into account that Amy’s daughter could be faking the whole thing to prevent the consequences of her actions from catching up with her. Sofia is very smart and has planned and schemed to do devious things before. Now, she’s backed herself into a corner. She is a victim of her own bad choices. But also in some difficult circumstances. I mean her mother Amy is controlling and that’s what drives Sofia to extremes. The choices that Tate and Johnny made, all of that kept pushing her in these directions.
But again, she made her own choices. But you know, she’s barely 18. Her mother, Amy, stopped her when Sophia wanted to terminate the pregnancy early. Additionally, Amy’s religious piety was the main reason Sophia did not tell her mother that she had slept with other men besides Tate. Let’s be real, Sophia wasn’t a virgin when she took Tate’s virginity. And then we learn that she also got into bed with Aaron Green (Luis Tomeo). So, there are at least three men she was with.

He admitted to Tate and Holly that he slept with Sofia. But Aaron also said that when he found out she was pregnant, he asked if he was the father, and said Sofia was very sure he wasn’t. Aaron then had to leave town to be with his mother, Katarina Milonis (Eli Patrikios), in Canada.
So, Aaron kind of put it out of his mind after Sofia denied that he could be the father. It now seems very likely that Aaron is Tesoro’s father. But as his sister Kat Green (AnnaLynn McCord) tells him, Aaron needs to get DNA confirmation just so they know. I expect we’ll soon find out the results of another test on the little Tesoro. Because Aaron may have rights.
He may have a say in where his child will end up. By the way, there were also some articles that I found very disgusting about some lousy channels that do nothing but lie. Some tabloids, which do nothing but lie, say that Sophia was molested by her father, brother, or stepfather.
I’ve never heard of a stepfather. This way you know it’s fully made up. Or Aaron might have assaulted her. But there are no signs that this is true. You guys don’t believe this stuff. If your jaw drops and it’s that shocking, then you’re lying.
Days of Our Lives: What’s next for Sofia? Bay View, treatment, or final confession?
What we have is Sophia at this point where she’s cut off. I lost it when I encountered it. I tend to think that’s what we saw. Amy was overly controlling and restrictive and Sophia acted out as a result. She accidentally got pregnant when the condom didn’t work.
So, if Sophia is indeed catatonic and having a nervous breakdown, I would expect Dr. Marlena Evans to recommend that Sophia spend some time outside bayview, Get some therapy. This means that it may take some time before Sofia is able to explain her strange behaviour Days of our lives.
Now, we also have to admit that when faced with Tate and the others demanding answers, Sofia may have decided that faking a fit was better than facing the consequences. So, she could have done a simple theatrical performance. But at the same time, I would have expected Marlena and Sarah to realize this if Sofia was faking it.
I also wonder if Amy comes to see Sofia too University Hospital Or in Bayview. Because if Sofia was faking it, she might open up and talk to Amy and stop acting all flustered and dumb while Amy was in the room. So, we’ll soon find out if Sofia is really on the lam or if she’s pulling one last trick.
