Bold and Beautiful He mocks Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada), who is pregnant but has been arrested and if there is any justice, she will spend the rest of her natural life behind bars. But that leaves the question of who will raise her and Will Spencer’s (Croe Morrow) child. Although Katie Logan (Heather Tom) has already said she will do it, it may not work out that way after all.
And I think we could end up with a custody battle for this unborn baby with Spencer for several good reasons. Okay, let’s talk about who might kidnap the baby. Luna was clearly distraught when the new life she dreamed of with Will went up in smoke. Even though a DNA test showed that Luna was pregnant by Will, he didn’t want her. And Elektra Forrester (Lanya Grace) called the cops and had Chief Baker drag her away regardless as she was begging Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and everyone else to save her.
So obviously if Luna stays in prison, she won’t be able to be with her baby. And her jaw dropped when Katie Logan said that she and Bill Spencer were going to raise Luna and Will’s baby. But just because Katie said so doesn’t mean it will happen. In reality, Luna may not want that for her child. Even if she’s in prison, which seems likely since Bill says he won’t help her, Luna might have a say in the matter of who raises her and Will’s baby.

There are other people who might actually want to raise this child, each with their own reasons for doing so. I’ll just reflexively say that even though he’s Will’s so-called child, I don’t think he’d want to play father to the child because Luna got him drunk and molested him and that’s unpleasant. I don’t think Elektra wants to be a stepmother to Luna’s children. So, I don’t even count them as possibilities.
But there are other parties involved, some more legitimate than others, but whoever can make a claim that they have a legal claim to this child with his father will be careless about custody and his mother Luna locked away hopefully for life.
Bold and the Beautiful: Will Katie and Bill secure custody of baby Spencer?
First of all, there’s obviously Katie and Bill as potential adoptive or foster parents. He may want to go through with the adoption like Katie wants because Bill may hope to reconcile him and Katie and give them a new lease on life, but they may not end up with the baby.
Second, I think Luna’s grandmother, Lee Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda), might throw her hat into the ring. She may want Luna’s child to prove that she can raise him properly and so that Lee can ensure that the child does not turn out to be evil like Luna or her awful mother, Poppy Nozawa (Romi Park).
I’m sure Lee wants this child to be raised with a good role model so he has a sense of morals and good judgment. I mean, it would be great if the kid turned out like Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), who was raised so well by Lee and Jack Finnegan (Ted King). I give credit to Lee for all of it. And, you know, Finn turned out great despite having Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) DNA in his bloodstream. So Lee is someone to think about.

Another option to consider after Great-Grandma Lee is the baby’s grandfather, Finn. He may also want to consider being a foster or adoptive parent for Luna’s child for several reasons. First, Finn couldn’t raise Luna, so this would be a bit of a change. Second, Finn himself is adopted and has a psychotic mother named Sheila. Therefore, perhaps he sees something of himself in this child’s situation.
Third, Finn may want to remove the child from Bill’s influence. I mean, Dollar Bill is a cheater, a liar, and an attempted murderer. He’s not a great guy, you know, and Bill got Luna to pardon even after she tried to kill Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), all of which led to this mess. So, we also know that Finn and Steffy are great parents, and I can see Finn convincing Steffy that they can save this baby from Luna and protect the baby from her terrible influence.
And if Finn makes a deal we’ll raise this baby and I’ll cut Luna and Sheila out of my life, and never say another word to them forever. “Okay, okay,” Stevie might say. Because she loves children and has adopted before, even though it turned out to be a stolen child. So, we know they are open for adoption.

The fourth option to consider is someone who might want to raise Will and Luna’s child for very selfish reasons, which is Poppy. Of course she hates her daughter Luna. And this week, when Poppy found out Luna was alive, she called her the B word, which completely shocked Lee and Finn, even though it shouldn’t have. But that doesn’t mean Poppy won’t obsess over her grandson. This is why. Luna’s baby is Spencer. Bobby is a well-known gold prospector Bold and beautiful.
Therefore, you may struggle to get custody of Luna’s child until you can claim significant child support from the Spencer family. Bobby might see that baby in Luna’s belly as a payday. You know, all Bobby cares about is money. That’s why I tried to portray Luna as Belle’s child. And if you remember, Bobby was pretending to be a cool hippie girl. But actually I was thrilled to live Spencer’s comfortable lifestyle with Belle. So, yeah, I could see Bobbi pulling off a kidnapping because she views the baby as an ATM machine.
Bold and Beautiful: Sheila Carter’s desperate bid for family and redemption
The fifth option to consider is of course eight-toed Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). She might want her eldest grandchild because he’s her only connection to Finn and Luna who will likely be out of her life forever. Steffy had finally comforted Sheila, but now she lied and helped hide Luna. So, I think she’ll be out again. As for Luna, she’s probably looking forward to life in prison, meaning Silla can’t live it in her daily life. Therefore, she may want to get custody of Luna’s child to feel closer to her son Finn and granddaughter Luna when they are out of her life.
But I can’t imagine that Katie or Bill would want their grandchild on Sheila’s deranged hands and eight fingers. I don’t think any judge in their right mind would give Luna’s child to Sheila. That doesn’t mean she won’t try to get her hands on Luna’s baby, especially since Sheila may soon lose Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan). So, this is a big loss. Luna may lose in prison. You know, she could probably see it, but not much.

And I think Steffy will push Finn to keep Sheila out of his life. So, this Luna and Will baby could be all the family members Sheila left behind. And if you remember, she has some other children. But when it comes to Finn, she was cheated on to prevent her from raising him. I mean Jack pushed her hard into giving him the baby the same way Finn was tricked into keeping him from raising Luna. So Sheila may feel that this is an opportunity to do a new task for her.
So the bottom line is that it may not be as easy as Katie thinks it will be for her and Bill to take this baby. There may be other people in the way and you never know. Luna might have an opinion on that. And if she did, I expect she would prefer Finn or Sheila to say Lee or Katie or Bill or especially not Bobby, who we all know wronged her as a child.
