Cube explained that these restrictions were an additional post-production setback. The film was initially presented to Universal before changing hands, and its unconventional structure was one of the reasons why it took so long to hit the screen.
“All the images come from real surveillance cameras around the world. So they had to build all this, then collect and modify the images,” he said.
