Grant Calcaterra could have a great opportunity to shine during week 2 fantastic football. With Dallas Goedert excluded for Sunday’s match between the Eagles of Philadelphia and the Chiefs of Kansas City, Calcaterra could take advantage of it and help the defending champions of the Super Bowl to beat the chiefs.
Goedert came out with a knee sprain, which means that Calcaterra will line up as TE1 against the title champions of the AFC. After his best season in the NFL, Calcaterra could resume where he stopped and help the Eagles get another victory over Patrick Mahomes and Co.

The Eagles air play had a good night against the cowboys of the week 1. They recorded 152 yards, while the racing game posted 158. It would be strange to see Jalen Hurts go to the end tight and to the ball carrier before his three wide receivers, but these situations are probably in clashes due like the Duel Cowboys and perhaps the game of chiefs.
The chiefs were dominated by the Air Loading Aerial Game, which displayed 318 yards, including 68 of the tight ends Tyler Conklin (50 yards on two sockets) and will dispense (18 yards on a socket).
Calcaterra displayed its best season in 2024, catching 24 assists on 30 targets for 298 yards and a touchdown. It has intensified when Dallas Goeder could not and fans of the Eagles hope that he will do the same this week.
Grant the fantastic perspectives of Calcaterra for 2025
Grant Calcaterra started the 2025 season with a projection of 19.7 fantastic points after publishing 59.8 last season. Either this number will change quickly, or ESPN thinks it will have one of the biggest games of the season on Sunday because it should get three targets, catch two passes for 20 yards and finish with 4.65 fantastic points.
The secondary of the chiefs did not seem so well against the loaders and if the Eagles attack it as they did against the cowboys, the Steve Spagnuolo unit could be in a long afternoon.
