Russia has announced that its experimental cancer vaccine, Enteromix, has completed preclinical trials, officials claiming both safety and high efficiency, according to a Newsweek report which has raised the hope of healing deadly disease.

Veronika SKVORTSOSOVA, head of the Russian FMA MEDICY Agency (FMBA), told the Eastern Economic Forum of Vladivostok that the vaccine was “now ready to be used”, pending official approval. She said years of research, including three years of compulsory preclinical tests, have shown reductions in tumors from 60 to 80% depending on the type of cancer, as well as improved survival rates.

The vaccine is initially intended for colorectal cancer, with a subsequent development in progress for glioblastoma and melanomas, including eye meloma, noted the ratio. Some media suggested that the vaccine had obtained 100% efficiency in the trials, although Newsweek said he could not verify this assertion.
