Ovation was noted by Variety To be one of the longest to date of the this year’s film festival. The reaction to the film also saw it melt into tears, a very rare demonstration of emotion.
The film, directed by Benny Safdie, plunges into the career and life of the truck star Mark Kerr. He examines his problems of dependence, relations and the very heavy nature of the MMA himself. A documentary of the same name was released in 2002, and he inspired the film.
For the first time in his acting career, the rock has completely changed its look for the film, which naturally caused a lot of buzz. In addition, criticism has been extremely positive so far, with a high classification on rotten tomatoes. The film is expected to be released in theaters on October 3.
The rock may no longer return to WWE
