The meeting should be private and discreet, focused on a “simple face to face conversation”, rather than on public appearances or formal gestures. The initiates said that the objective was to preserve intimacy and dignity while keeping the door open for additional dialogue.
However, reconciliation with Prince William remains outside the table. The source said that all the efforts to bring the brothers to be “rejected uncontrollable”.
Meghan Markle, Harry’s wife, will remain in Montecito, California, with their children, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, during her trip. Markle has not returned to England since the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II in 2022, which she described as a “hard” trip.
