Manila, Philippines – Savi Davison thinks that the teamwork and the depth of PLDT transported them to the promised land, capturing the first PVL championship on tour.
Davison, the team’s top scorer since he joined two years ago, said that the Prouvé Pldt title was more than a woman’s program after surviving Chery Tiggo, 25-17, 25-25, 24-26, 15-8, during the final of the winner before 11,055 Fans of Mall of Asia Arena.

“I said that from all angles – we are a threat. People continue to tell me, it’s Savi, but in practice and in the games, I cannot believe the girls who arise,” said Davison after paying 23 points.
“I think we have some of the best athletes in our gymnasium and I’m so happy to be part of it. They make me better every day and I just hope that I can do the same. ”

Mika Reyes showed on occasion, emerging as MVP of the finals with a 20 -point career summit, including a seven -block championship record record.
Majoy Baron collected 13 points, highlighted by six blocks. Kianna Dy also scored 13, including the winning block of the game, while Kath Arado took care of the ground and Kim Fajardo ran the games.

“Pldt was there long before I arrived.
“People ask me all the time” Why Pldt? ” But I can’t say anything else that I am so happy – it’s either PLDT or nothing for me.
The Canadian Filipino striker, who had 34 points in the semi-finals, said the breakthrough was softer after failing in the quarter-finals of the entirely-Filino 2024-25 conference and in the reinforced semi-final last year.

“It was definitely a process. We did not start from the bottom, but we had the impression that we could not take a break. (Of) half-finding, neighborhoods, anyway,” said Davison. “But that makes it feel so much better when you must have been fighting for that. So I’m glad we could present ourselves tonight and do what we had to do.”
