One person was killed and several people were injured when a train hit a vehicle and derailed in southern Denmark on Friday, Danish police said.
Photos of the scene showed that a car had been torn from the train and was lying on the side, Danish TV2 reported.
The police said that of the 95 people on the train, one had been killed and several were injured, two of whom were swept away by the helicopter, police said southern Denmark in a press release.

The incident occurred when the train hit a vehicle during a level crossing, said Banedanmark, operator of the national rail system, on X.
Denmark’s national railway operator, DSB belonging to the state, said separately that he had interrupted all the trips between the cities of Kliplev and Tinglev near the Denmark border with Germany.
