The Philippines welcome junior gymnasts from around the world for the artistic artistic junior artistic championships of the 3rd figurine, which take place from November 20 to 24 at the Manille Marriott hotel in Pasay City.
Organized by the Gymnastics Association of Philippines and sanctioned by the International Gymnastics Federation (Fig) and the Asian Gymnastics Union, the competition will showcase artistic gymnasts for men aged 16 to 18 and female artistic gymnasts aged 14 to 16.

Nearly 1,000 athletes from 79 countries have already registered more than two months before the championships, according to the president of Gap, Cynthia Carrion.
Carrion said that the event will be a “breeding ground” for future stars, citing the attraction of sport and references for Olympic champions such as Simone Biles and Carlos Yulo, who won two gold medals for the Philippines in Paris last year.
“The artistic world championships in the junior world will be a showcase of young talents ever seen before, a farm where these exceptional athletes can shine, excel and display their skills and prowess,” Carrion said at the launch of the tournament on Thursday at the Newport World Resorts Mall.
Among the people present at the launch, the president of the PSC, Patrick Gregorio, the president of the technical committee of Fig Mag, Andrew Tombs, the president of the WAG technical committee, Donatella Sacchi ,, the main director of Mag events, Stepane Detraz and the managers of senior events of Wag, Celine Cashmille.
FIG officials arrived on Wednesday to inspect the host’s preparations and the Balle de l’Hotel de Manille Marriott, which also served as a place for the 2015 Asian Olympic qualification tournament and will be used for competition.
The participation rate has already exceeded 283 athletes of 64 nations which participated in the second edition in Antalya, Turkey, two years ago. Officials are waiting for more entries before the start of the competition.
Carrion also unveiled the slogan of the event, “Leap high, Flip Fort!” And these participants can expect a safe and festive atmosphere as well as in Philippine hospitality.
