Chengdu, China -Kaila Napolis was satisfied with the silver medal after tilting in front of South Korea, Ju IM in the women’s finals of Ju -Jitsu -52 -Kilogram, Sunday, at the Jianyang Cultural and Sports Center gymnasium.
According to a 2-2 impasse in the moving seconds, Napolis tried to throw the Korean from the carpet to mark and win the victory.

But IM was just in a better place when the clock expired, climbing above the Filipino grappling for a positional advantage worthy of the decision point.
Despite the defeat, Napolis, gave the country something to celebrate for putting the first medal for the Philippine team here in Chengdu after three days of competition.
Napolis and the rest of the national team are supported by the Philippin Olympic Committee under the direction of President Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino and the Philippine sports commission.
“I am a little disappointed not to have obtained the crucial point. But I am always grateful to have been able to represent the country here,” said Napolis.

Meanwhile, Annie Ramirez, who shouted instructions in good place in the row of spectators to give her teammate an elevator, dropped two of her fights to say goodbye in the female class of -57 kg.
