The relationship between Kate Middleton and Princess Beatrice has been the subject of speculation for years, and a new revelation from a former Buckingham Bucking Butler highlights a surprising decision by the Princess of Gales and her husband, Prince William.
According to Grant Harrold, who worked as butler for King Charles III from 2004 to 2011, Princess Beatrice is unlikely to start a high -ranking role within the royal family during the reign of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Despite Béatrice’s growing presence during official events and her growing involvement in royal affairs, Harrold thinks that his future in the monarchy will remain limited.
Why the royal role of Princess Béatrice will remain limited
Harrold highlights two main reasons for his evaluation. First, he quoted the current tension between King Charles III and his brother, Prince Andrew, which complicated the possibility of Béatrice elevation. While Prince Andrew’s public scandals continue to have an impact on the family, Harrold suggests that it is unlikely that Béatrice was offered a more important role by his grandfather, King Charles.
However, Harrold’s insight suggests that the decision is finally based with William and Kate once they went on the throne. Despite this, the butler insists that the Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge probably do not make a Beatrice a high -ranking royal work, citing his existing career outside the royal family as one of the main reasons.
“Béatrice has her own career, so I don’t see William making her a high -level royal work,” said Harrold. “She has always intensified, but she has a job and takes care of her own business. She remains a very precious member of the family. ”
Tensions between Béatrice and William
In addition to his career, Harrold also underlines the current tension between Prince William and Princess Beatrice, in particular the tense relationship which surfaced in 2023 following the diagnoses of cancer of Kate and Charles.
