Manila, Philippines – The PBA will only have one team for the East Asia Super League which was extended to a field of 12 teams for its 2025-26 season which opens in October.
The announcement on Monday revealed that the representative of the PBA, who will be determined later, will play in group B with the champion P.League + Taoyuan Pilots of Taiwan, Ryukyu Golden Kings of Taiwan, Ryukyu Golden Kings and the Black Bears, who generally play in the Asian tournament.

In group A, the winner of B.league Utsunomiya Brex, losing the finalist of P.League + Taipei Fubon Braves, Hong Kong Eastern and Korean Basketball League second placeur Seoul Sk Knights.
Placed in group C are the finalists of the Emperor Cup of Japan Alvark Tokyo, the winner of the TPBL of Taiwan, New Taipei Kings, the champion Kbl Changwon LG Sakers and the Titlist league of the Ulaanbaatar XAC Broncos League.
The PBA will always understand which team he will send, but last season saw the Champion of the Philippine 2024 Meralco Cup and the Titlist beer of the Cup of Commissioner 2023-24, which represents the League in the recent EASL campaign.
