The fourth test between England and India is played out in Old Trafford, Manchester. Being 1-2 in the five test series, visitors will be desperate to draw. However, they do not have an excellent record in tests on the site.
Of the nine games before the current match, India lost four with five results drawn. They did not win a match in Manchester. The first time they played a test here was in 1936, the last one (before the current match) in 2014. They lost with a round and 54 points in 2014.
For the current game, visitors have made three changes to the team. They brought back Sai Sudharsan and Shardul Thakur, the young stimulator Anshul Kamboj making his first appearance. Kamboj was called as a blanket with Akash Deep and Arshdeep Singh injured.

# 1 ANSHUL KAMBOJ (2025)
As mentioned earlier, Ashhul Kamboj is the most recent Indian to make his debut in the test in Manchester. He was not part of the original team but was added before the fourth game. The 24 -year right stimulator has made giant progress.
He impressed in the Ranji 2024-25 trophy with 34 counters of only six games. Kamboj is a coherent artist in first class cricket. He has 79 windows over 24 games at an average of 22.88. In the Ranji 2024-25 trophy, he only became the country’s sixth bowler to choose the ten counters in a first class cricket round.
# 2 Anil Kumble (1990)
The last Indian to make his test beginnings in Manchester before Kamboj was Anil Kumble. The former leg veteran made his debut during the 1990 test. Kumble picked up three counters in the match, which all came in the first round.
He rejected Allan Lamb, John Morris and Angus Fraser, returning with 3/105 figures of 43 Overs. Setting among the big ones of the game, Anil Kumble ended his test career with 619 counters of 132 games at an average of 29.65. He also scored 2506 points with a century.
# 3 Suru Nayak (1982)
The former cricket player Suru Nayak made his test in the test in Manchester in 1982. He overthrew 12 overs in the match and did not picked up any window, giving 50 points. With the bat, Nayak scored only two points.
It was a surprise choice for the tour in England in 1982. The Mumbai cricket player ended up playing only two tests for India, marking 19 points and picking up a counter, which was that of David Gower. Nayak played 68 first class games during her career.
# 4 Madal Lal (1974)

# 5 BRIJESH PATEL (1974)
Former selector Brijesh Patel also made his test debut in the same match as Madan Lal in 1974. However, it was not a memorable outing for the right -handed striker.
Beating in the middle order, he scored five points in the first rounds and three in second, without having an impact. BRIJESH PATEL played 21 tests for India. He scored 972 points of 38 rounds at an average of 29.45 with a hundred solid. However, at the domestic level, he raised 11911 covers 203 first class games.
# 6 Abbas Ali Baig (1959)
Former cricket player Abbas Ali Baig made his test debut in 1959 in Manchester. He had a brilliant start, breaking his first and only a hundred test in the match. The right -hander marked 112 in the second round.
There is still a curious case, having only played ten tests for India, although it is a prolific racing-race in the domestic cricket. Abbas scored 428 points in his test career. He stacked 12367 of the 235 first -class matches to an average of 34.16 with 21 centuries.
# 7 Ranga Sohoni (1946)
The end of the versatile Ranga Sohoni toured England in 1946 and made his test in the Manchester test. He had no notable performance. With the bat, he scored 13 points on both rounds and remained without a counter with the ball.
Despite a decent first class career, Sohoni could not make the big scene on the international scene. He only played four tests for India, marking 83 points and only picking up two counters.
# 8 Chandu Sarwate (1946)
The late versatile Sarwate also made its test debut with Sohoni in 1946 in Manchester. Sarwate could not succeed either at the international level. He only played nine tests for India.
The right -hander only scored 208 points and picked up three counters. However, he had a long first class career. Sarwate played 171 first class games. He scored 7,430 points with 14 cents and put 494 counters with 26 traits with five titles.
# 9 Cotar Ramaswami (1936)
The very first time that India played a Manchester test in 1936, the late Cotar Ramaswami made its debut. He impressed the bat in this game, making important contributions.
The left -hander scored 40 in the first round and 60 in the second. Interestingly, he only played two tests in his international career, ending with 170 points. Presenting in 53 first class games, he made 2,400 points with two centuries and 12 fifties.
# 10 khershed meherhomji (1936)
Late goalkeeper Khershed Meherhomji also made his test in the Test for India in 1936. However, he turned out to be his first and only test. Beating at number ten in his only sleeves, he remained unbeaten on zero, not even forgetting his account.
Consequently, his test career ended with him not even making a single race. The right-hander played 30 first class games, scoring 656 points with two half-century. He was a reserve of reserve on the tour in England in 1936.
