Russian President Vladimir Putin exercised his condolences to Pakistan leaders following the tragic terrorist attack on a passenger train in Balutchistan.

In a statement published by the Russian Embassy in Pakistan on X, he praised the courage and professionalism of the Pakistani security forces who managed to save hostages.

“Please accept my deep condolences to the tragic after the terrorist attack on a passenger train in the Balutchistan province,” Putin wrote in his message to President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

“We resolutely condemn this brutal and cynical crime, whose victims understood a large number of women and children,” he continued, stressing the firm position against Russia’s terrorism.

Putin also congratulated the “courage and the high professionalism of military agents and the Pakistani police, whose decisive actions have helped to save hundreds of lives”. He underlined Russia’s continuous commitment to strengthen cooperation with Pakistan in the fight against terrorism.

“Russia remains determined to strengthen cooperation with its Pakistani partners in the fight against all forms of terrorism,” added Putin, reaffirming the determination of his nation to stand in Pakistan in his efforts to fight against militant threats.

The Russian president also expressed his sympathy to the families of the victims and expressed his wishes for the “rapid recovery of all those who suffered in the hands of activists”.

The security forces stormed the Jaffar Express diverted on Wednesday, bringing a spectacular end to a 30 -hour seat in the Bolan Robust area of ​​Baloutchistan, killing the 33 terrorists, while successfully saving more than 300 passengers.

Lieutenant-General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, the military spokesman, revealed that 21 hostages had lost their lives during the confrontation of a day.

However, the Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) firmly declared that no civilian had been injured during the final rescue operation carried out by the armed forces.
