Princess Kate Middleton published a statement after that many considered a major snob of the Buckingham Palace on International Women’s Day. The official tribute of the palace excluded the future queen, despite the presentation of Queen Camilla, Princess Anne, Duchess Sophie and former monarchs such as Queen Elizabeth II and Queen Victoria.

The omission occurred a few days after reports have surfaced that Kate would have held a secret meeting with Prince Harry, arousing speculation on tensions within the royal family.
