Islamabad: The 6th round of Pakistani bilateral political consultations (BPC) convened in Rome expressed its satisfaction at the positive trajectory of bilateral relations as well as cooperation in the context of the European Union.
The Pakistani team was led by the Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Amna Baloch, and the Italian delegation was led by Secretary General Ricardo Guariglia, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a press release on Saturday.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amna Baloch, while highlighting increasing trade relations between the two countries, underlined the immense potential to further extend cooperation in the fields of economy, development, agriculture, defense, higher education and contacts of people.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Italian Secretary General also positively assessed bilateral consular consultations held on January 30 Islamabad This year.
The two parties appreciated the similarity of points of view on a certain number of international and regional problems as well as close coordination at the UN.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs shared an official invitation letter from the Vice-Prime Minister / Minister of Foreign Affairs Ishaq Dar sent his Italian counterpart to hold the second ministerial examination of the Pakistani strategic commitment plan in Islamabad this year.
