The young runners of Iloilo, Narvacan and Pangasinan dominated the opening day of the national philcycling championships for Road, winning criterion gold medals in Tagaytay.
Allaeza Mae Gulmatico and Maria Louisse Crisselle Alejado won the victories in the youth categories 1 and 2 women, giving Iloilo an early advance of the five -day event organized by Philcycling under the president of the Philippin Olympic Committee “Bambol” Tolentino.

Gulmatico dominated the race 16 and under, held on a circuit of 2.1 kilometers near the Atrium of Tagaytay City. Joanna Mae Armendez claimed Silver, while Jems Lucas had bronze. In Youth 2, Maritanya Krogg earned money behind Alejado, while Yvaine Osias finished third.
Jazmine Kaye Vinoya de Pangasinan captured female junior gold in a 20 -minute race at more than three laps, at the end of Yvonne Alejado and Eloiza Pajarito. Narvacan’s CJ CJ won the Men’s Youth 1 class, beating its compatriot Jelian Abdul Hamid.

Raven Vidaz led the finish in male youth 1 alongside Jerick Cabael and Silmar Khen Silao, while Nheytan Pascua, Nathan Omana and Justine Yu swept the podium for the youth of men 2.
