A viral video has emerged on social networks showing that Nooora Shalash, Director of Government Affairs of CAIR (American-Islamic Relations Council), engaging in an aggressive altercation with a group of Jewish visitors in Manhattan.
In the video, the woman, identified as Shalash, would have shouted: “I ask for jihad, I want the Islamic State to kill you all.” The authenticity of the video has not been confirmed independently, although it has aroused millions of views and generalized attention online.

Noora Shalash, born in Amman, Jordan, and raised in Lexington, Kentucky, held various positions, in particular by defending the civil rights of American Muslims by Cair. Previously, she worked as a senior sales manager at Coach and as a sales specialist at Victoria’s Secret. She also sat on the board of directors of Cair Kentucky from 2016 to 2020.
Cair Kentucky has currently not published a declaration concerning the incident and the validity of the video remains unaccompanied. The incident continues to draw significant attention, in particular given Shalash’s leading role in the advocacy of civil rights.
