General Hospital Spoilers show Drew Cain Quartermaine (Cameron Matheson) seems smug as he thinks he’s about to become the new owner of the Quartermaine Mansion and is already planning to get rid of all the other questions. But I think he might get a quick kick of karma and all his big plans might go awry.
We’ll talk about how Drew might lose his chance to buy the mansion and then we’ll find out who Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charlson) really left the Q mansion in her true will.
Ronnie’s forced betrayal of General Hospital: The blackmail behind the mansion sale
So, right now, Ronnie Bard (Erika Slezak) is forced to sell the Quartermaine Mansion to Drew because Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) threatened her with prison if she didn’t do what he said. Ronnie doesn’t want to sell out to Drew, but that’s what she gets for conspiring with Martin. Really, Ronnie is like everyone else in Port Charles.
She doesn’t like Drew. She knows he’s not a good person. Additionally, unlike Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), we’ve seen that Ronnie loves the Quartermaine family and doesn’t want to betray them. Unfortunately, Martin left her no choice. Following the lawyer telling Ronnie that she had to sell the mansion to his client, Drew showed up at the house and announced that Ronnie had agreed to sell to him.
Of course everyone was upset. Tracy flipped out the most. Ronnie chewed a new one and said it insulted her sister Monica’s memories. Ronnie was of course confused and said she didn’t want to be involved in all the Quartermaine drama, so she would sell up and leave Port Charles. And of course she can’t tell them that Martin is blackmailing her. So Ronnie has to make excuses, cooperate, and then try to get out of this.
Cody’s Legal Gambit: A Setback for Drew’s Mansion Takeover on GH?
Here’s what I think might happen this week. There is official JH Spoilers say Cody Bell (Josh Kelley) gets some legal advice possibly from Molly Lansing Davis (Kristin Vaganos) and by the end of the week, General Hospital Spoilers say Drew has had a major setback. So maybe Cody will find a way to stop Drew from getting the Q Mansion. Maybe he’d talk to Molly about some aspect of inheritance law or something. We know that Cody is really close to Tracy and he absolutely despises Drew.
Ever since Cody found out that Drew was sleeping with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) while seducing Willow Tate (Caitlin McMullen) away from Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson), you know, he’s come to hate the guy. So, I think it would be great if Cody found a way to stop the creepy congressman. But even if Cody doesn’t screw up Drew, it looks like something will go down based on what he spoiled about Congressman Cutthroat’s setback.
So, I’m just wondering if Drew is going to give Ronnie a huge amount of money for the mansion, literally millions of dollars. She takes the money and runs away. I mean, obviously she has to split it with Martin, but Ronnie won’t stay in Port Charles because she doesn’t want to get arrested for fraud. So, we’ll see if Cody shows up in some way that Drew can’t shut the house down. Or he might buy it and then cancel the sale retroactively.
Karma in Port Charles: Will Drew Cain lose it all?
You know, obviously it’s going to turn out that Ronnie didn’t really inherit the house and that means she can’t legally sell it to Drew. In the end, not only could he lose a pile of cash due to Martin’s scheme, but Drew certainly wouldn’t end up with ownership of Quartermaine long term. Plus, you know, Tracy and Michael and the others are going to rub it in Drew’s face when it all blows up on him. That would just be a sweet, delicious slap of karma.
Eventually, we’ll find out who Monica really left Q’s house to in her original will. At the moment, we don’t know what was actually in that document, because Martin modified it. All we know is that Monica left the locket for Ronnie and nothing else because Martin made that clear. So, let’s find out who will actually end up in the Quartermaine mansion once the dust settles because it definitely won’t be Drew. Be sure to stick around until the end to hear the most shocking conclusion from Monica’s true will.

Legacy of the Prodigal Son on General Hospital: Did Monica leave the mansion to Jason Morgan?
First of all, we know that Tracy wanted Michael to have the house, but it may have gone instead to the person Monica considers her last living child. She may have left the house for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Remember, Monica always wanted Jason to come home and be part of the Q family again. Now that he’s finally done it, Monica may have decided to leave the house for Jason to make sure he stays. Additionally, Alan Quartermaine (Stuart Damon) bought the house and is Jason’s biological father. So, I think Monica leaving it up to Jason is possible, but it’s not the most consistent outcome.
GH Next Generation: Quartermaine’s legacy to the grandchildren or Ned and Olivia?
So, the second thing, Monica may have left the Q home equally with the grandchildren. She may have left it in trust with Jason as trustee until all of the grandchildren were of age. Monica’s grandchildren are Danny Morgan (Asher Jared Antonizen), Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante), Jake Weber (Hudson West), and Michael. So maybe they share ownership and each gets a quarter of the house.
But perhaps Monica decided to go another route and instead left the house to Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) as the matriarch of the next generation and patriarch of the Quartermaine family knowing that they would obviously take care of everyone. Monica may see them as the next generation of Edward Quartermaine (John Engel) and Lila Quartermaine (Anna Lee).
So she may have left the mansion to them with the caveat that any Quartermaine who wanted to live there were welcome except Drew. Of course, there’s no doubt that Ned and Olivia would keep the Q mansion as a warm, loving home open to the whole family if Monica left it to them. And you know, if Olivia and Ned get the place, Olivia will rush out and add the pizza oven she’s been wanting for so long.
The Apple of Her Eye: Why Michael of Corinth could be the sole heir
And remember, keep going until the end because then I’ll give you the wildest and most consistent option. But before that, consider whether Monica had left ownership of Q to Michael exactly as Tracy wanted. I mean, I probably did. If you remember, Tracy was talking about how Michael was the apple of Monica’s eye.
So, yeah, I probably did what Tracy suggested and left it to AJ Quartermaine’s (Sean Kanan) only child. Tracy would be thrilled if the Q mansion passed to Michael and his kids because of course Tracy would still be living there and controlling everyone. And obviously she would love for Michael to have her.
General Hospital final twist: Could Tracy Quartermaine inherit the mansion?
But this is the thing that I really wanted to go for the more dramatic and soapy option. What if Monica left the house to Tracy? You know how much Monica would love to tell Tracy that Alan left the mansion to her. Monica rubbed it in Tracy’s face all the time over the years. I kicked her out of the house more than once.
So maybe Monica decided to undo some of that old feud and let Tracy leave the mansion for the rest of her life and then ownership would revert to Michael, who is Monica’s only biological grandchild once Tracy was gone.
Honestly, that’s what I’d really like to see for Monica to leave it up to Tracy to honor that sisterhood that she and Monica have grown up with over the years, but more so in these recent years. Tracy will be greatly affected and Michael will still eventually receive the estate in the form of a generational inheritance. This is the option I really hope for.
