As we always do on Early Release Day, we talk about what’s coming the rest of this week and then dive into what’s in store for next week.
Behind the Gates Spoilers: Wedding Plans and Halloween Drama
So, on Thursday, October 30, which is the first day of November campaigning, by the way, we have Derek Baldwin (Ben Gavin) wanting to talk to Ashley Morgan (Jane Jacobs) about their wedding plans. This comes after he met Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman). Derek clearly still feels threatened by this man, which is completely understandable.
But if he continues to pressure Ashley too hard, it will be a problem. Additionally, Dr. Ted Richardson (Maurice Johnson) is trying to move on and so is Dana “Leslie” Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant). However, I don’t think they are moving forward together. Ted is not happy to see the demon who is tormenting him, also known as Leslie, dressed as an angel for Halloween.
Behind the Gates Spoilers: Leslie crashes Nicole and Vernon’s plans
On Thursday, Dr. Nicole Dupree Richardson (Daphne Dupleix) and Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) plan to hand out Halloween candy at her house, and they hang out and watch a scary movie together. It is a beautiful day for father and daughter. Nicole dresses up as a witch, but Vernon seems to have decided not to dress up as a witch.
Because she’s terrible, Leslie comes to Nicole’s house uninvited, saying, “Trick-or-treat.” Obviously they are for tricks and not for rewards. She is not an angel. We know that. Nicole asks if anyone thinks Leslie is an angel. And then, of course, she turned it around and called Nicole a witch. To be fair, she’s wearing a costume. I don’t know why I decided to boycott them.

Then other family members show up, desperate for advice. I wonder if Samantha Richardson (Najah Jackson) will show up to see her grandmother Nicole, fighting about what her father did, and coming at her like a hammer during her fight with Nathan (Brennen Suttle). But we all know it wasn’t just business. I love how the kid tries to tell Bradley “Smitty” Smith (Mike Manning) and Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybone) that the condom they found was part of a chemistry experiment. It’s like, sure kid, more like anatomy, not chemistry.
Also, Ted meets Leslie in Uptown this week. He sees her costume and says angels can fall and asks him to shut up. Additionally, Tyrell Richardson (Jaden Lucas Miller) impresses his crush, Jessica, when he defends his sister’s reputation. I wonder if Nathan is going to go around saying some things about Samantha after her father, Martin and Smitty catch him. Tyrell has already warned Samantha that Nathan is a bad man. She said he’s a horndog who basically picks up girls and then talks loudly about them and doesn’t want that to his sister.

Friday, October 31, we have Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) giving Haley some peace of mind with something to buy. It’s a very strange spoiler that it buys her some peace of mind. So maybe he’s going to double his life insurance policy from 10 million to 20. You know, you gotta be careful when you’re worth more dead than alive to the people in your life, especially when it’s your second wife.
So Bill still has no idea that he’s in a version of Kill Bill starring Haley and that she’s stalking him. Anita Dupree (Tamara Toney) makes some surprising plans. Looks like they might be in for Thanksgiving. She is looking to find peace in her life and help heal some old wounds through a gesture she makes. An Anita-like drag queen who performed the reigns of Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) and Andre in Vegas is invited to Türkiye Day.

But I wonder if Anita might also invite Leslie along with Sharon Winger (Bonita Brisker) and Tracy Tyler (Maria Howell) so that Leslie can meet her mother Barbara’s other friends who are speakers. This would be a really big gesture and might make things somewhat easier. Additionally, Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) scares Haley on Friday.
I wonder if Joey has figured out that Randy Parker (Maurice P. Keery) and Hailey are conspiring against Bill. Joey questions Randy about what he is doing with Bill’s young wife. And then Joey will grill little Hailey too. Eva Thomas (Amber Michelle) also gets a sexy offer that touches her. Maybe it’s from her father, Ted, or maybe it’s from someone else in the family.
Maybe peaches. Maybe they’ll do Thanksgiving together. Plus, Madison gets really upset when Chelsea interferes. And it appears that Chelsea is reaching out to Madison’s estranged mother. And you may not like the beautiful document. She was having difficulty with her mother, you know, and that hurt her professionally. Therefore, she had to cut ties with her on social media. Chelsea does not respect boundaries.

The week of November 3-7 is the first full week of November campaigns. We’ll have a great big job. We’ll get more developments with Vanessa McBride (Lauren Boglioli) as she tries to position herself as a mob hub. She doesn’t want to marry into the mob. She just wants to sleep with the mob with Joey and do dirty work with him personally and professionally.
Also, Eva and Isaiah Hawthorne (David Lemmy Freebee) continue to shine despite Katherine “Cat” Richardson (Colby Muhammad) trying to stop them before they start. Also, Derek is still working hard to get back on his feet for his wedding to Ashley, but I doubt Ashley will be happy about his deception. Shanice (Ernestine Johnson) has warned him. Jacob warned him. Derek doesn’t listen. He has this whole fantasy in his head.
He will stand. Ashley will pick up. And I mean, standing, yeah, obviously he can do it, but I don’t think it’s a good idea to carry a bride when you’ve been recently paralyzed. Plus, it’s obvious that all of this is going to blow up in his face. Nicole hit the brakes on Carlton this week and told him she still has feelings for Ted even though she won’t 100% reconcile with him.

But Nicole said it’s too early to move on. Carlton then said he could wait and gave her a kiss. But guess who’s not waiting? Ted. But no, he’s not going to move forward with crazy Leslie, even though that’s what she wants. She basically told Nicole that she was going to put his ring on her finger. I don’t see that happening.
Beyond the gates Spoilers say it’s pretty Shanice from the hospital that Ted will start showing interest in, which I think is a lot of fun. They know each other well. They have worked together for a long time. It’s cool and not crazy. This is useful. Chelsea’s fallout next week comes from her intervention with Madison Montgomery’s (Kingah MacNeil) mother.
Even Chelsea’s followers told her: “Don’t interfere.” But Chelsea went and did it anyway. And I think we’ll see her and Madison’s first big fight. I think Chelsea is wrong. Madison is right about this. Also, is Bill’s young wife, Haley, going to panic and give him too many poison drops at once because she thinks Joey is after her and she needs Bill dead and insurance checked ASAP.
