Michael Kim reflects on his experience playing in India

Michael Kim traveled to India earlier this month to compete in the DP World Championship in India. The tournament took place from October 16 to 19, where he delivered an astonishing performance.

He began the campaign with an opening round of 68, followed by another round of 68. He carded a 69 in the third round and a 67 in the final round to find himself tied for ninth place.

After the event, Kim spoke about her experience participating in the tournament. He shared a lengthy message on his X account (formerly Twitter) on October 19, sharing his “thoughts from DP World India.» He wrote:

“Thoughts from DP World India: -I was a little apprehensive before coming to India, but honestly I had a great time this week. The golf course was super unique, but it highlighted my strengths and everyone treated us very well. I can’t thank DP World enough for inviting me and putting on an awesome tournament.

“Special thanks to Oberoi Hotel. Easily among the top 5 hotels I have stayed in, mainly because of the staff. There is a higher staff to guest ratio than anywhere I have been and every single one of them treats you like a king. -The food was excellent. I have never had a Delhi belly and there was a lot of spice in the food which I loved,” he added.
