Bold and the Beautiful reveals that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) is very concerned about how close her husband is to his new therapist Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig). She was telling this to Lee Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda), Sheila’s new best friend.
We’ll talk about how and why Lee would gossip about Taylor to help save Sheila’s marriage.
Bold and Beautiful: Sheila Slots
For now, Sheila thinks there’s a chance Taylor could have a positive influence on Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan). We hear her tell her only friend, Lee, that she hopes Taylor can help save her marriage to Deacon. Recently, Sheila said to Li: “If anyone can get to Deacon’s heart, it’s Taylor.” And she’s not wrong.
Sheila was spot on when she said Taylor could get to Deacon’s heart, because apparently she did. He’s halfway in love with Taylor at this point it seems. Sheila told me she was snooping and grabbed Deacon and Taylor in her arms. Lee then asked Sheila if she was worried about Deacon seeing another woman. Sheila said if Deacon cheated on her, he better not be with Taylor.
Sheila Carter’s deadly threat to Deacon and Taylor
That’s when Sheila said if that happened, she would kill Taylor. Since this is Sheila we’re talking about, when she says she’s going to kill Taylor, it’s not just an expression. This isn’t a metaphor or something. This is literal. We know 100% that Sheila would do it. Let’s not forget that she has killed before and has countless attempted murder charges as well.
As a matter of fact, Sheila had killed Taylor before. In the days of Hunter Tailo, she was shot by Sheila and was presumed dead for years, but was secretly saved by Prince Omar. Most recently, Sheila shot Finn (Tanner Novlan) when he protected Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) from Sheila’s gun. She then fired again and hit Steffy just as Finn was down and out of the way. So, yeah, I have no problem believing that if Taylor got close to Deacon, Sheila would target her with murderous intent.
Blurred boundaries: Taylor and Deacon’s doctor-patient relationship
This week, Deacon announces his intentions with Taylor. He’s complimented her before, but in a recent episode, Deacon made Taylor admit how badly Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) treated her for many years, always making promises and then breaking them. By the looks of things, Taylor may have started to reciprocate Deacon’s feelings for her. They hug again this week when Taylor cries out over her grief. She returned to Deacon’s arms.
These are not appropriate boundaries for the psychiatrist and his patient. This week is official Bold and beautiful Spoilers say Taylor tries to use a more professional and clinical approach with Deacon. I think when they get too close, that near-kissing moment that we saw in the trailer, Taylor might be trying to restructure the boundaries between her and Deacon because the lines seem blurred. Of course, Taylor doesn’t want to lose her job or her license as a psychologist, so she might try to keep herself in check and keep things professional with Deacon.
Will Finnegan Taylor expose me to protect Sheila?
I also think Taylor is afraid to risk her heart again with Deacon so soon after losing Ridge to Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). However, I don’t think Deacon will stop having feelings for Taylor. This week, Deacon comforted her about all things Ridge. Next week, who knows where Deacon and Taylor could be by then because they’re already coloring outside the lines.
Meanwhile, Lee might go check on Taylor and Deacon to see if Sheila is right to be suspicious. If so, Lee might see Taylor in Deacon’s arms or he might even see them kissing or nearly kissing after bonding over trying to save Luna Nozawa’s (Lisa Yamada) life. Now that we have the two grandmothers as friends, Lee probably wants to protect Sheila’s marriage, but also prevent her friend from doing something she can’t take back, like killing Taylor and ruining her life. I could see Lee going over there doing some minor stalking and checking on Taylor, maybe watching her to see if she was doing something she shouldn’t be doing with Deacon.
Bold and the Beautiful: Lee’s personal vendetta against cheating doctors
If Lee sees them getting too close, she might take action. Lee may feel bad that Sheila’s marriage is falling apart because Lee saved Luna and got her out of the hospital. Then Sheila was attracted to her. Therefore, Li and Silla were linked by this matter, so Li might decide to help Silla. Lee may also have a more personal reason if she reported Taylor to the hospital board as being inappropriate with a patient.
If you remember, maybe a couple of years ago, we found out one of the reasons why Lee hates her sister Poppy Nozawa (Romi Park) so much. She mentioned to me that she got a job for Bobby at University Hospital. And Bobby began an affair with a married doctor. Lee was quite angry because I think the man’s wife also works at the hospital.
It was very messy and Lee was very angry with Bobbie because she thought this could have spilled over and ruined her medical career. I can see that Lee has a grudge against the con doctor and con men in general. This is something that might inspire me to report on Taylor. I could see Lee looking at Taylor the same way she looked at Bobby: a desperate woman making moves on another woman’s husband. Because no matter what, Deacon is married.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers: A Thanksgiving showdown and an uncertain future
This week, Sheila reaches out to Deacon again in another attempt to save their marriage. When Sheila is looking for Deacon, she goes to the hospital and she might see him and Taylor in that almost kissing moment. If so, Silla will be angry. We know Lee has more sightings later this week, so Sheila may be running to tell Lee what she saw. Or the scenes could be Lee warning Taylor to back off from Deacon or that she will do something about it.
Lee might just report Taylor to the hospital board without warning her. You’ve worked there for years and know exactly who to talk to about this issue. This way, Lee can help keep Taylor away from Sheila’s husband and make sure that Sheila, Lee’s only friend, doesn’t kill anyone.
Bold and Beautiful: A Thanksgiving Treat for Deacon
I also know there are spoilers about Deacon having Thanksgiving dinner with Sheila, but that doesn’t mean he and Taylor won’t end up together. Lee could chew Taylor out, set some boundaries with Deacon, and then after Thanksgiving, maybe stop using Taylor as a therapist so he can pursue her romantically and Lee can’t report her to the board. We’ll see. But this also means that Sheila may still be trying to kill Taylor. I’m fascinated by Deacon and Taylor, and curious to see how Li would fit into this story.
