General Hospital It’s hinted that there’s a big twist in the story of Ronnie Bard (Erika Slezak) being drugged because it looks like he’s not the culprit she thinks. It could be Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) who did the deed when he crashes the tea party.
We’ll talk about how accusing Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) of drugging could be exactly what Martin intended to happen if he was the one who Bishop Ronnie is and I think he is.
General Hospital: Martin disrupts BLQ’s tea party
Earlier this week, we had Brooke Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Seaton) holding a tea party at the mansion with the best of intentions so Ronnie could meet the movers and shakers and make some friends in Port Charles. BLQ hopes to integrate Ronnie into the community General Hospital. This is so that you can stay and not sell the Q Palace from under them.
If you remember, Martin showed up at the tea party claiming that he thought his niece, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havens Bruening), left her phone in the courtroom, but she said, “No, that’s not my phone.” She even showed Martin that she had her phone in her bag. So, he said to Lulu, “Excuse me,” and started acting like he was going to leave, but he was doing so slowly.
Then he got what he wanted because Stella Henry (Ferne Watson) invited him to join them and meet Ronnie. I highly doubt Martin would have actually walked out the front door because he faked a reason for being there. But after Stella invited him to join, Martin was sure to wave the phone he claimed was Lulu’s, to make sure everyone knew he was there by accident and hadn’t bumped into a target.
Tea Party Red Flags on GH: The Case Against Martin Gray
I don’t know if you noticed, I’m sure some fans did, but during the Tea Party episode that went down, there were definite red flags. I’ll show you some clips from Monday’s episode to explain what happened and why I’m pretty sure Martin drugged Ronnie. First, we have Martin and Lulu. They were in the palace foyer, just to remind you of the scene.
Stella then invited Martin into the lounge and introduced him to Ronnie. You can see him extending his hand, forcing her to shake it, which means Martin made Ronnie put her cup down, just to be polite. And just to make it clear that something was about to happen after Martin reached out to take her hand, the camera zoomed in on Ronnie’s teacup after she put it down, which is not for nothing.

Then Stella and Ronnie walked away to chat. They were near a picture of Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charlson) while Martin was by the table where the teacups were. He was ostensibly checking something on his phone while all the ladies in the room were busy chatting. Then he came to say goodbye to Ronnie Stella and left the palace.
Then they showed Ronnie a go and I got the same cup of tea. We saw her drinking tea alone. You can see Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero). And I think Felicia Scorpio (Christina Wagner), Liz Weber (Rebecca Herbst) and Brooke Lynn are behind her.
It wasn’t long after that that Natalia started acting strange, sort of, running her mouth, feeling unnatural. And feeling really dizzy and sick. So, yeah, I totally think Martin showed up there intending to put something in Ronnie’s tea. I think he got away with it.
A History of Deception on GH: Why Martin Frames Tracy Quartermaine
I think he figured Tracy would probably take the blame because she was known to despise Ronnie. It’s no secret around town. Additionally, Martin assumed that Tracy would be blamed for drugging Ronnie because Martin knew Tracy’s history. If you remember back in 2020, she framed Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) for drunk driving. It was after Ned Ashton (Wally Kurth) and Alexis had a one-night stand, and Tracy didn’t want Olivia to find out. So, she set Alexis up. It was this complicated plot.
Olivia was quick to call out Tracy in front of everyone about the Alexis incident. Tracy was kind of freaked out that friends and family thought she was going to drug Ronnie, but I mean, it’s in her wheelhouse. So clearly Tracy can do it. But in this case, I believe she is innocent and that it was all about Martin. By the way, I don’t think Ronnie is Martin’s co-conspirator at all. The more I see this, the more I think Ronnie is a tool that will serve as collateral damage in Martin’s game of revenge against Tracy.
I think Martin legit wanted to tell Monica about Ronnie’s letter he found at Drew Cain Quartermaine’s (Cameron Mathison) house. But before Martin could reach Monica, she suddenly and sadly died. From there, I think Martin decided to take advantage of the circumstances to attack Tracy for what she did to him. I think Martin knows the lawyer who did Monica’s estate planning. Martin may have worked with him or been a friend of his. So I guess he accessed the lawyer’s files and changed Monica’s will so Ronnie would get the house and all Tracy got was a jar of pickles.
Fraud Detection: Did Martin change Monica’s will on General Hospital?
Even if Monica was going to leave the house to Ronnie, the pickle-eating move wasn’t something Monica would do. As Tracy said, it wasn’t cruel. But Martin wants Karma to bite Tracy in the ass. If you remember, she got Martin arrested not long ago. Tracy wanted Martin gone because he was Drew’s lawyer and Tracy and Drew were fighting over him using Quartermaine’s name.
So, Tracy made sure to catch Martin for some back pay from a few of his many ex-wives. He finally came back and has been angry with Tracy ever since. He hates her. In addition, Martin went bankrupt due to this incident. He even had to move in with his sister Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) and is stuck doing Drew’s dirty work because he needs the money.
Also, Martin can’t stand the way Tracy throws away her money and influence to get what she wants. Martin really wants Tracy to get what’s coming to her. He recently said that to Drew. He said karma would get Tracy. That’s why I think Martin orchestrated this whole thing. I think Ronnie legitimately believes that her sister Monica blessed her with this inheritance, perhaps because she had a hard life and they were separated at a young age as sisters. As for Monica’s will, Tracy is right. That will is forged. It wasn’t Ronnie who faked it. I think she’s in the dark. I believe she is innocent. I think it was Martin.
Upcoming legal battles on GH: Lawsuits and restraining orders
Now that Tracy is nervous and has been fired, she’s going to attack. I fully expect her to ask Marco to file a lawsuit against Ronnie for forgery and fraud. Then Martin might approach Ronnie and say that he had experience with Tracy, and knows how cruel she can be. Martin may suggest to Ronnie that he file a restraining order against Tracy so that she can’t do anything else, like go near her drug use again. I mean, if Ronnie gets a restraining order so Tracy can’t even come ride the horses or see the family, she’ll lose it.
Drew was rubbing her nose at him because he was banned from the property. In addition, Olivia also banned Tracy from Metro Court due to her alleged bad behavior. So, now she’s stuck on Lulu’s couch. I definitely think Tracy will fight back and Martin might say to Ronnie: “Look, I’ll take your case when of course it turns out Tracy is suing,” which I expect will happen soon.
Well, Martin might say to Rooney, “Look, I’ll do this for free,” because I don’t think he’s looking to profit from any of this. He just wants to make Tracy miserable. And so far, Martin is succeeding because Tracy is angry and miserable. As messed up as he is, I have to say he’s pretty great for Martin, and I can’t wait to see how the rest of this story turns out. However, I don’t think he will get away with it in the long run.
