The young and the restless Burning events are expected to take place from October 27 to 31, 2025 Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is taking a big risk and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) is in love.
As we always do on Early Release Day, we’ll start with what’s coming the rest of this week and then dive into what’s coming the following week.
The Young and the Restless: A distraught Sharon and a haunted Mariah
So, Wednesday, October 22, we have Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) telling Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) that Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) said she needed her. Nick encourages Sharon to go with Mariah in Boston since Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) is unconscious and will not know if she is there or not. Sharon is very nervous, saying two of her children are broken, but she’s also very worried that something will happen to Noah if she leaves and won’t be there for him. So, Sharon called Maria’s therapist and talked to her about what was happening and the progress she was making. She then tells Nick that she will stay in Los Angeles. Sharon believes Maria is where she needs to be and is getting the help she needs.
But it doesn’t actually seem that way because Maria hallucinates Ian Ward (Ray Wise) on Wednesday, but says he’s dead. She still thinks he’s dead. He’s not really there. He says Tessa Porter (Kate Fairbanks) left her. Ian then says it’s all Maria has left. Ian talks about being a part of it and that he knows it. Maria says that’s not true and calls him a stalker. Ian says he loves the evil in her, like when she stalked and stalked Sharon years ago. Ian actually encourages her to unleash her darkness.
The Young and the Restless spoilers: Maria remembers her trauma
Maria tells Ian how she met a man who reminded her of him and they drank and kissed and she went up to his room and then Maria tried to kill the man. Ian says she can’t kill the man because she doesn’t want Ian to die. He thinks Maria likes his darkness too. And remember, this is all inside her head. These are all things she thinks about and fears for herself.
Maria vows that she will never be as evil as Ian. Maria also promised that she would never let Ian break her. She says it doesn’t matter and wants him gone. Then Ian suddenly disappeared. But the Queen of Hearts card that Tessa tore up was now strangely whole, as it was when Ian touched it. So, we get the supernatural. truly? It’s strange.
Y&R Spoilers: Nick’s investigation and shocking kiss
Nick calls Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) about this man, Detective Burrow (Matt Cohen), and also tells her that Noah has been getting some calls from this woman, Sienna Bacall (Tamara Brown). So Nikki takes the information on Sienna, and says she’ll have Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) people check it out. Nick cries as he talks to his mother, saying he doesn’t want to go through a tragedy with another child. Nikki told him that suffering is part of life.
Daniel and Tessa argue until she stops her and then she apologizes and says she crossed a line. Daniel and Tessa both admit that they have thought about kissing each other. Daniel says that, you know, they’ll wake up tomorrow and they can forget what happened, but they agree that they can’t really forget. They walk to get coffee to talk about it.
Tessa admits that she has feelings for Daniel and says that he is important to her. Tessa calls Daniel her best friend, and he tells Tessa that he’s in love with her, but he cries because of it. Tessa then says in another timeline that she will fall in love with Daniel. But Tessa wasn’t done fighting for her marriage. Daniel agrees that she should continue to fight for her marriage.
The Young and the Restless: Kyle’s Secret Mission
On Thursday, October 23 The young and the restless. We have Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) trying to find out something about Holden Novak (Nathan Owens). So, Kyle spies on Holden, looking for dirt, hoping to convince Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin) to cut the man out of her life. But I don’t think it will be good for Kyle. So, in the hotel restaurant, Holden is talking to Siena and Kyle is lurking nearby and watching, and Claire walks up and asks, “What the hell is Kyle doing?” He tries to turn it around and say, “Who is this person with Holden and what is he doing?” Naturally, Claire knows exactly who he is.
Also on Thursday, Sienna meets Nick. And I’m sure Nick wants to know if Sienna can tell him anything about who will target Noah and how they know each other. If Sienna knows who’s after Noah, the question is will she tell Nick? So I called his number four times. So, it seemed like they were in regular contact and she knew something was wrong.
Perhaps she was helping him in his project to buy the club there. We’ll see. Holden may also know Noah because Audra Charles (Zuleika Silver) dated them and they have overlap with Sienna. We’ll find out. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) stuns Ken Ashby (Billy Flynn). We know that Phyllis wants to get Cane’s AI program. Maybe she will try to seduce him out of it.
Friday on Y&R: Sally’s high stakes and new alliances
On Friday, October 24th The young and the restless. We’ll end the week with Sally taking a big risk. She really puts herself out there for Audra. This likely has to do with the job offer Sally made to Audra Apotcom. Of course, Sally had to beg investors and talked Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) into it, but she may not want Audra involved. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) has given up on that, so a response may come from Jill.
Kyle tries to get information from Sienna about Holden. I’m sure Kyle is hoping Sienna will take offense to him and tell him something terrible about Holden, but I can’t imagine Sienna would tell Kyle anything. Damian Kane and Phyllis come to an understanding and it may have to do with artificial intelligence. You know, he might set some standards.
Next week on Young and the Restless: November campaigns kick off
The week of October 27-31 on Young the Restless will be very busy. The last two days of that week, Thursday, October 30 and Friday, October 31, are the first two days of November campaigns. So hopefully they are preparing for a big action. Nick does everything he can to find out who tried to kill Noah and why.
It will be relentless. Hopefully Nick will get some help from Sienna. We also have a new Roger Howarth character scheduled to appear on the scene. Maybe he’s the bad guy after Noah. You never know. We also heard Sienna mention her boyfriend Mitch. So this could be who Roger Howarth is playing.
The Young and the Restless: Danny and Kristen’s wedding and Kyle’s stubbornness
Kristen Williams (Lauralie Bell) and Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) can’t wait to get married. They are getting married in November campaigns. I can’t imagine Phyllis being an adult and walking away from the wedding. I wonder if she’s going to mess with Christine’s dress. Just typical Phyllis stuff.
Holden might offer to help Sharon and Nick get to the bottom of what happened to Noah, which might earn him some points with the Newman family and with Claire. She’s sure to impress Victor and Nikki. Claire continues to try to convince Kyle to return to Genoa City.
But he doesn’t listen to her, do what she asks, or respect her boundaries. So, I can’t imagine he’ll go. Tessa and Daniel try to protect their friendship and ignore the spark they feel. It appears that Maria’s condition may get much worse before it gets better. We’ll see if Ian shows up again to haunt her.
