General Hospital: Michael’s Willow Frame Job Backfires Badly!

 – Magic Post

General Hospital Hints that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) framed Willow Tate (Caitlin McMullen) for attempted murder. But Michael may be in for a rude awakening soon because it looks like his plan to target Willow is going off the rails soon.

We’ll talk about how Michael’s plan to frame Willow for the shooting of Drew Cain Quartermaine (Cameron Matheson) might turn upside down and blow up right in his face.

General Hospital: Willow’s shocking arrest

Last we saw, Willow was at the GPD and being held on charges of putting two bullets in Drew’s back. It’s clear to see by Willow’s reaction that she’s not the shooter. I know a lot of people thought she might be, but no, she was distraught and horrified when Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) arrested her and accused her of shooting Drew.

Additionally, Willow was doubly devastated because her children, Wiley Corinthos (Feron Weaver) and Amelia Grace Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Mako), saw her in handcuffs. And then, while Willow was in the interrogation room, a light bulb went off in her head and she realized: “Yes, Michael set me up.”

Mounting Evidence: Why Michael Corinth Seems Guilty as a Sin on GH

Honestly, it really seemed like that because Michael was pretty sure he wouldn’t get caught. Hence he didn’t seem too surprised by Willow’s arrest. Additionally, he has said multiple times, as Michael has, that he will do whatever it takes to protect his children. It is intended to protect them from the willow. Also, the actress who plays Willow Tait, Katelyn MacMullen, said that not only does her character believe that Michael is the one who framed her, but Willow is also certain that Michael was the one who shot Drew.

So, that also says, “No, you didn’t do that.” And we all know that Michael was there that night on the street right outside his house. But so far, only viewers and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliott) know this information. But despite this, Willow learns that she did not shoot Drew and that only the real killer could have planted the attempted murder weapon in Elizabeth Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) home. Michael was at Elizabeth’s house and had little reason to stop by.

Devious Plan: How Michael used his children to frame Willow on General Hospital

Michael offered to let Willow see the kids under supervision and the psychiatrist there, but I think the supervised visit was just a one-time visit. So, Michael seems like a good guy. It will make it look much worse. Additionally, this will be the last time the kids see their mother before he cuts Willow out of their lives forever by trying to frame her and send her to Bentonville.

And it certainly looks like Michael planted Edward Quartermaine’s gun in Willow’s bedroom. We know Michael had plenty of time to do this because Liz had no reason to suspect that it wasn’t safe to leave Michael alone in her house while she waited for Willow. So, whether Michael shot Drew or not, he certainly seems guilty of framing Willow.

The investigation heats up: Willow reveals Michael’s betrayal of GH

That’s exactly what Willow told Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). She told a PCPD informant that Michael set her up to take the fall for shooting Drew. The next thing I expect we’ll see is that Chase will take this information to his boss Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). Willow will tell her lawyer Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) that Michael was alone at Liz’s house just before the gun was found.

Everything is very convenient. This doesn’t look good for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Corinthos’ son Spencer (Laura Wright). Not only that, but the timing is highly questionable. Right after Anna tried to execute a search warrant on the Quartermaine mansion but was kicked out due to a typo, that’s when Michael just disappeared.

The police must have realized that this was the perfect opportunity for him to take Edward’s gun, so that when the cops returned with the correct warrant, the attempted murder weapon had disappeared from the Quartermaine mansion. So the timing makes it look very bad for Michael.

Contaminated Evidence: How Carly’s involvement could derail the case

And of course Liz will confirm that she left Michael alone. They can pretty much verify how long he’s been at her house because Liz knows what time she left it. Then Willow came straight home from a shift General Hospital He found Michael at home. Further complicating the framing mission is the fact that Carly has also been at Elizabeth’s house recently, which is very strange.

Maybe there was one time. I find it difficult to even think when you are at home. So, Carly and Michael were alone there before Anna served the warrant and found the gun completely tainted the evidence chain and any evidence they found at Liz’s house. Even Diane Miller (Caroline Hennessy) said that no jury on Earth would believe Carly or Michael’s story.

Michael’s motivation for General Hospital: Justified framing function or pure revenge?

Plus, there are some things Willow has done that Michael knows that no one else knows. This way Willow was creeping around doing things with baby Daisy to torment Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). I mean, Willow had a lot of fun driving Sasha out of town so Michael couldn’t see his daughter. So, I think he feels very justified in what he does.

Also, he probably feels very proud that he did such a good job in the frame on Willow. With her and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) arrested, Michael may think all his problems are solved, Willow will go to Bentonville and he can keep their children safe and away from her. But I think this unclear move will blow up in Michael’s face.

The frame is revealed: how Michael’s plan is doomed to fail

First of all, Drew and Nina might pay Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschel) to tell the truth. She’s a whore. The money will follow, who got the most money. And these two will be together and that means Michael will have no excuse at all. Second, I expect Drew to lie through his teeth and say he saw Michael at his house with the gun and knows he shot him. Drew had already decided that he was going to send Michael to prison for shooting him whether he was guilty or not. And now it looks like it might actually be so.

I’m not 100% sure if he was the shooter or not. But he clearly knew about the gun and it certainly seems like he’s guilty of framing Willow. With her arrest, I expect Drew to redouble his efforts to take down Michael. Between the apparent contamination of evidence found at Liz’s house and Drew soon giving a false statement, this should lead to Willow being released from custody. Even her lack of an alibi shouldn’t be an issue if Drew firmly states that he knows Michael shot him because he was there that night with a gun and Michael’s alibi disappears.

Allies and Enemies on General Hospital: Chase’s emotional defense and Michael’s violent past

I can also see Chase being an ardent advocate for Willow on this matter. There’s no way Chase is letting Anna or DA Justin Turner (Nazneen’s contractor) ignore red flags regarding Michael especially when it appears he planted evidence and set up Willow due to the timing of the search warrant at the Quartermaine house.

And DA Turner seems to be somewhat evasive on this as well. So, she might end up in trouble. Additionally, Michael has a history of violence while Willow does not. Michael is sent to Bentonville after beating his stepmother Claudia Zacchara (Sarah Joy Brown) to death.

And of course, Michael was defending his mother and little sister from the awful Claudia. You got what you deserve. But still. Also, since Chase is living in the Quartermaine mansion with Michael, we could see Chase start monitoring Michael more closely, looking for dodgy behavior or anything he can use to help Willow.

GH’s latest twist: Will a dual frame job reveal the truth?

So, it won’t be long before Michael’s framework is revealed. The thing is, even if Michael didn’t do it, it would look like he did. So, it would be really wild then General Hospital He had a double-deep frame job and like Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) framed Michael to frame Willow, something or someone else.

But with Chase working on the right side of the law and Drew on the wrong side of the law, both trying to help Willow, I suspect it won’t be long before this whole frame backfires and blows up in Michael’s face. Whether he is the one starting the framework mission or just getting involved in it.
