Japanese kickboxing icon and former multiple K-1 champion Yuki Yoza looks to steal “The Kicking Machine” Superlek’s spot among the pound-for-pound greats of the world’s largest martial arts organization. Yoza plans to beat the Thai icon in epic fashion in front of his hometown crowd.
Yoza is set to face reigning flyweight kickboxing world champion ONE in a three-round bantamweight showdown at ONE 173: Superbon vs. Noiri card, which will be broadcast live from Ariake Arena on Sunday, November 16.
Speaking to ONE Championship in a recent interview, Yoza had nothing but praise for “The Kicking Machine.”

He told the promotion:
“He really can do anything. Even under the rules of kickboxing, without elbows or clinches, he still displays world-class abilities. Fans and people in the industry are very appreciative of him. If I can beat him, that recognition will come to me as well. I’m really looking forward to fighting him.”
