Now, let’s talk about why this happens. We’ve been saying here for a while that we thought it would eventually come out that Sofia wasn’t carrying Tate’s baby. For a long time, I felt like it was Aaron Green (Luis Tomeo) who got Sofia pregnant the day they stopped to watch the movie. I mean Sofia gave her permission to play it. So, even if it turns out that Sarah is personally taking the test, and therefore is not violating HIPAA, I think that test will be done by Sarah or Ravi, one way or another.
We’ve all seen Sarah urge Sofia to come clean so Tate and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) can put an end to the matter, but Sarah is still handcuffed. She couldn’t tell Tate or Brady, even if she took the test and confirmed what Sophia said was true. Which means Tate is definitely not the baby daddy. So Sarah was also really upset at how selfish and terrible Sofia was. She seems to think Tate will get over the whole baby thing.

Meanwhile, Tesoro’s time with Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon), Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) and the Hernandez family is coming to an end because Sofia’s waiting period to change her mind is over. And now Tesoro is officially up for adoption. So this big issue is who will end up with Sofia’s baby.
Now, for a while, fans also suspected that Tate might not have been little Sofia’s father. To her credit, when Sarah confronted her, Sofia seemed genuinely shocked at the idea that the baby wasn’t Tate’s. I’ve also said here for a while that I’m not thinking about Sophia. Now, Sofia has made herself clear, but I still don’t think Sarah will fully believe it until she gets Sofia and Tesoro’s test results. Sarah believes Tate deserves to know the truth that he was not a teenage father whose child was put up for adoption. Even though Sarah can’t explain things, she might nudge someone in the right direction. Finally the truth about Sofia and the baby comes out.

Meanwhile, Tesoro remains up for adoption. And Sofia just tried to ruin Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel Dupree’s (Raven Bowens) chance to adopt the baby. She sent those nasty texts from Holly’s phone. They were right as the social worker was there. I wrote that scathing letter to the adoption agency. Despite all that, Johnny and Chanel might still get their chance to adopt Tesoro because they found out from Rafe that Holly couldn’t send the text.
From there, it’s easy for them to do the math that the only person who hates them enough to pull this trick is Sofia because it would have been very easy for Johnny to figure it out from there. Sophia sent the letter to CPS because she is still angry that Johnny botched the adoption months ago.
Even before Sophia gave birth, because this was the perfect solution to all her problems. And Johnny screwed it up. But with a kind word from Rafe and proof that the texts were forged and the letter was a lie, Johnny and Chanel could end up adopting Little T after all.

But there are other potential families and people who could end up with this adorable little baby. Now, there is a possibility that Aaron wants his own child because it seems very likely that Aaron is the one who impregnated Sofia. Even though he is still in college and had no idea that he was the one who impregnated Sofia, Aaron might want his son. If you remember, he actually tried to confess to Tate several times that day that he slept with her. We might still have some flashbacks, but you know, it seems very likely that it’s him.
Cat Green (AnnaLynn McCord) and Felicity Green (Kennedy Garcia) may be on board to help Aaron raise his son. They may want the baby. Felicity and Cat might be really excited about having a nephew. I’m sure Aaron will be surprised by all this. In the end, he truly loved Sofia and might feel betrayed. He may want custody of his son or not.

Now, if Kat and Aaron don’t have the baby or don’t want Tesoro, maybe Amy Choi (Shi Ni Nelson) will come forward. You know, early on in the pregnancy, Amy was urging Tate and Sophia to get married and raise the baby together, but Sophia said no. She was the one who wanted to adopt. So, Tesoro’s grandmother, Amy, may decide that she will adopt the baby once the full truth comes out because at this point, it’s out of Sofia’s hands. She has no legal opinion at all.
Aaron could still have an opinion if he was his son. Because he had not been notified of the birth of a child. So, I will say that Amy said he looks like Sofia’s little brother and she seems to have a vibe with the baby. So, Amy is a possibility. The problem is that I still don’t know if her mother will find out everything because Sofia keeps lying. I hope the whole truth comes out to everyone in Salem.

Another option, of course, is that Javi and Leo might get the chance to adopt Tesoro. They have been taking care of him with Ravi, Gabi Hernandez (Sherri Jimenez), and Ariana Horton (Marissa Reyes). And Raph is officially the adoptive father, but he also wasn’t planning on keeping Little T forever. But Javi and Leo discussed adopting the baby themselves Days of our lives.
They were worried about not being approved of because of their past. Jaffe had this daughter who died in a hot car accident in Texas. Leo has been arrested in the past for being a con man, so it may be an exaggeration. And of course, the last option is for some random couple to end up with Little Tesoro.
However, I feel like the baby will be adopted by someone we know wants them or we will find out they are close to them and want them. So, right now, I’m leaning towards Johnny and Chanel, but you never know. Aaron and the Green family may step up to the plate and take the baby home with them. I just wish the writers didn’t drag this out too much longer.
