The Barcelona icon, Xavi, believes that the legend of Real Madrid Zinedine Zidane was a better midfielder than him. He assess the Frenchman, but did not take an eye when asked if the current stars were better.
In a clip published by the content creators Adrian Contreras and Unai Zaballa, Xavi was invited to remain silent until he hears a better midfielder. He started with Arda Guller, Gavi, Kobbie Mainoo, Eduardo Camavonga, Pablo Barrios and Tijjani Reijnders, and the Spanish legend was not emulated.
The creators then appointed Martin Zubimenddi, Federico Valverde, Enzo Fernandez, Alexis Mac Allister, Jude Bellingham, Florian Wirtz, Pedri and Kevin de Bruyne, and the legend of Barcelona did not believe. The list then had emblematic names with Andrea Pirlo, Frank Lampard, Steven Gerrard and Claude Makelele, but Xavi did not think above him.
However, when the Real Madrid Zidane legend was appointed, Xavi quickly admitted his defeat. He did not propose any explanation, but said that the Frenchman was the best midfielder.
Zinedine Zidane and Xavi only faced 10 times on the field, the Frenchman winning four times and losing three times. Nine of the games were between Real Madrid and Barcelona, but their last meeting took place at the 2006 FIFA World Cup, when France eliminated Spain in 16 years.

Xavi and Zinedine Zidane are considered two of the best fields in football history. Louis Van Gaal is also highly appreciated, but Dutch is known for its daring sockets rather than for its management sessions for the young generation.
In 2015, Xavi revealed that Van Gaal praised the Spaniard as the best midfielder than the Real Madrid Zidane icon. The legend of Barcelona said that he had not let him enter his head because he did not want to get carried away and said (via ESPN):
“(Van Gaal) taught me a lot. He told me” you are better than Zidane. “I said thank you, but not to get carried away.
Xavi retired in 2019 and managed Barcelona for just over two seasons, winning the title of the League once, after doing it eight times as a player. Zidane called her Time during his career in 2006, and managed them twice, winning the UEFA Champions League three times and the title of the League twice.
