WNBA star Angel Reese has not shown much difference on the field in his second season with Chicago’s sky. There were obvious signs of difficulty from Reese to shoot on the ground, which was once again a burning subject among the fans. Friday, she published a new episode of her podcast, “shameless Angel”, where she revealed a second surgery in hand.
Reese appeared in 30 games for the 2025 season, which was four less games than his recruit year. During this section, she collected an average of 14.7 points, 12.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists. She scored a little more points and dropped less rebounds. Fortunately for her, she still made the star team.
During her last episode of Podcast, the former LSU star revealed that she had undergone an operation by hand during the offseason. This is why she also had to leave basketball unequaled earlier than expected. During her recruit year, she was limited to only 34 games after undergoing a wrist injury.
Reese said that she was not supposed to be ready for the training camp due to the procedure she had by playing insectivity.
“I was not supposed to be ready for the training camp, but shouting to Dr Shen, the best doctor in hand of all time. He put my hand on the right. It was not my wrist again, it was something completely different,” said Reese (3:30).
Reese had to face its disappointing production in its second season. The sky also had difficulties under the first year head coach Tyler Marsh. Chicago produced a 10-34 file and missed the playoff series for a second consecutive year.

In the last episode of his podcast, Reese spoke of his mentality before the WNBA 2026 season.
“Continue to grow and improve,” said Reese (10:37). “I think I also showed this year.
Reese was not in any part of the individual price races in its second season. Compared to her first year, she was 12th in the MVP and second race in the recruit of the year, behind Caitlin Clark.
For the third year of Angel Reese, the double All-Star wants to continue to improve and prove that she is a star of the League.
