Nelly Korda will participate in the Walmart NW Arkansas championship this week. Before deactivating the LPGA Tour event on September 19, the former world LPGA No. 1 was spotted by participating in a comforting cause.

On Tuesday, some of the LPGA Tour professionals took the initiative to visit the Arkansas Children’s Northwest Hospital. For those who do not know, this Springdale institution provides children with hospital, drug and research facilities. In a video shared by the LPGA tour on Instagram, Emily Kristine Pedersen, Perrine Delacour, Lindy Duncan and Nelly Korda could be seen to interact with the children.

Professional golfers could be intended to interact with the children of the hospital and offer them toys and hats. Take a look at the complete clip on Instagram with Nelly Korda and other LPGA pros:

“Tuesday, some of our players stopped at @Archildrens before the @nwachampionship … The players had an excellent visit with the children, sharing laughter, distributing gifts and making memories! …”

Nelly Korda will be turning off alongside Stacy Lewis and Lauren Cuchlin at 12:43 p.m. for the first round of the Walmart NW Arkansas championship. She comes out of a new T5 finish in the Kroger Queen City 2025 championship at TPC River’s Bend. It should be noted that the native of Bradenton is still looking for his first victory in the current LPGA season.

This is not the first time that Nelly Korda has had an impact on fairways. The double major champion is a popular name with regard to charitable causes or give back to the community. One of Korda’s recent contributions was US Women’s Open 2025, where the golfer has collected funds for a breast cancer organization.

When Nelly Korda achieved her desire to help disadvantaged children by donating $ 25,000

In addition to being a title sponsor for the LPGA, Meijer has a charitable program entitled “Simply Give”, which finances partners of the pantry through the Midwest. In 2021, the Meijer LPGA Classic announced that they would make a donation of $ 25,000 in the name of Korda. The whole sum was given to the food basket for children in Grand Rapids, which was selected by Korda.

While speaking of her choice of charity, Nelly Korda said (as mentioned by Meijer LPGA Classic):

“I just felt like I wanted it to stay with big rapids. I also like children. I always wanted to do something for disadvantaged children, and it is the first thing that pointed out to me.

The desire for Korda to work for special causes has been constant for years. During the devastating forest fires of Los Angeles, Brooke Baevsky, a famous chef, prepared meals for the victims of calamity. Korda shared this on her Instagram history and included a link where her fans could donate to the comforting cause.
