Lindsey Cunningham, sister of the star of Indiana Fever Sophie Cunningham, expressed his indicator after conservative activist Charlie Kirk was killed by Utah Valley University on Wednesday.

On Instagram, Lindsey shared family mourning positions that Kirk left after his death at 31, including republication of conservative pages.

“She lost her husband and these babies lost their father BC, some pos (piece of s ** t) had different political opinions,” she wrote.

“The emphasis on the pos,” she added, alongside a photo of Kirk holding her newborn baby. “Sort. Sick. Instruction.”

Utah Spencer Cox sentenced the shooting as a “political assassination”.

“It’s a dark day for our state. It is a tragic day for our nation,” he said at a press conference. “I want to be very clear that this is a political assassination.”

Kirk, a close ally of former President Donald Trump, was a key figure in the boosting of young republican voters. The hometown of Cunningham is Columbia, Missouri, a state that Trump carried with 58.49% of the votes and the 10 electoral votes.

“The big, and even legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead,” said Trump on social networks. “No one understood or had better the hearts of young people in America than Charlie. He was loved and admired by all, especially me, and now he is no longer with us. Melania and my sympathies go to his beautiful wife Erika, and to the family. Charlie, we love you!”

Before his appearance on the campus, an online petition urging administrators to prevent Kirk from speaking brought together nearly 1,000 signatures, according to the AP.

The university responded with a declaration citing the protections of the first amendment, emphasizing its “commitment to freedom of expression, intellectual investigation and constructive dialogue”.

Brooklyn Nets striker Michael Porter Jr. also reacted to Kirk’s murder on Instagram. He first shared the disbelief after watching the widely broadcast video of Kirk turned around the neck and collapsing.

He then denounced the act and cried Kirk’s death.

“Rip to Charlie SMH … I have never looked at his business but no one deserves to die like that. The man had a woman and children … He was killed to share his opinions and have given the opportunity to share their own too. He is a sad man … praying for the family!”

Authorities said two people were arrested as part of the shooting, but were then published, reports. The shooter remains in freedom.
