President Donald Trump signed an executive decree offering pricing exemptions on Monday to business partners who conclude agreements on industrial exports such as nickel, gold and other metals, as well as pharmaceutical compounds and chemicals.
Trump spent his first seven months in the construction of massive prices to reorganize the global trade system, reduce American trade deficits and extract concessions from business partner countries in negotiations.
His latest order identifies more than 45 categories for zero import rates from “aligned partners” who drop out of executive pacts to reduce the prices and reciprocal rights “imposed under the national security law of article 232.

The order of Friday leads us to prices in accordance with its commitments in the existing framework agreements, including those which have allies such as Japan and the European Union.
Exemptions for countries with US commercial transactions should start at 12:01 HA / 0401 GMT on Monday, he said.
In order, Trump says that his desire to reduce prices depends on the “scope and economic value of the commitments of a trading partner towards the United States in its agreement on reciprocal trade” and American national interests.
Cups cover items that “cannot be cultivated, extracted or naturally produced in the United States” or sufficient volume products to meet domestic demand.
A White House official said that he also creates new sculptures for certain agricultural products, planes and parts and articles not patented to use in pharmaceutical products.
In situations where a country has concluded a “reciprocal” trade agreement with the United States, this will allow the American commercial representative, the trade department and customs to give up prices on imports covered without a new Trump decree, said the official.

Zero-tail articles identified in order include graphite and various nickel forms, a key ingredient in stainless steel manufacturing and electric vehicle batteries.
The compounds used in generic pharmaceuticals, including anesthetic lidocaine and the reagents used in medical diagnostic tests.
The order includes various types of imports of gold, powders and leaflets to ingots, a key importation from Switzerland, which is struggling with American prices of 39% because it has not yet reached a trade agreement.
The order also allows prices to be removed on natural graphite magnets, neodymium magnets, electroluminescent diodes (LED) and eliminates previous tariff exemptions on certain plastics and polysilicon, a key component of solar panels.
