Manila, Philippines – Dalph Panopio, said that he still thought that the PBA would be his possible destination, in particular emerging from the scene representing the Philippines as a young player.

“It was not difficult to choose the PBA. It has always been an option,” Panopio said during the combination of Thursday’s draft at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City. “Now that I’m putting my name in the project, I appreciate it and continue to work.”

Panopio is one of the high choices projected from the procedures set Sunday at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall, given its play references for Batang Gilas during the 2019 Fiba U-19 World Cup and in the American NCAA for Cal State Bakersfield.

His last passage was in India before putting his name in the hat for this year’s PBA draft.

The 25 -year -old has aroused some interest from several teams, including Barangay Ginebra. His Instagram history showing him alongside coach Tim Cone created a buzz on social networks after being one of the hopes that participated in training before the cog.

“Ginebra contacted me to have training and there was no problem on this subject. And then the photos were out,” said Panopio. “But these are social media, and in the end, it is something that I cannot control because it is the project, and whatever happens, it happens.”

Terrafirma has the first choice of draft, with Phoenix or Converge, pending an agreement always examined by the League, among the first teams to select. Blackwater and Northport are also among the first teams to choose.

Many consider these teams to be potential destinations for the 6 -foot -1 born goalkeeper and grew up in Italy to the Philippin parents.

“I am delighted to join the PBA and I am delighted to represent anyone who chooses me,” he said.
