Bonnie Tan was mainly tight lips concerning Northport’s plans, not only in the next recruit of PBA recruit, but also the sale awaiting its franchise at Pureblends Corporation.
Tan only expressed his exaltation to add his former Letran player, Jeo Ambohot, to the list when the journalists caught up with Batang Pier during the draft combination at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
He begged to comment on the presence of the former terrafirma mentor Johnedel Cardel, who was with coaches throughout the last day of the pre-Rôti event.
Cardel could not point from Tan when he asked if he had joined Northport, or Pureblends, if the league approves the transaction.
Cardel was the 2018 Terrafirma coach at the end of the PBA Governors’ Cup last season.
An examination committee is currently overseeing the documents of the agreement which will see pureblends acquire the lock, stock and barrel of Northport for a published sum of 90 million pesos.
Pureblends is a company specializing in food manufacturing, especially for cooking needs.
Northport will always pass the project process on Sunday while the sale is still awaiting the sign of the head. The Batang Jeté has the fourth choice in the draft at SM Mall of Asia Music Hall.
This did not prevent Northport from moving around by sending Evan Nelle to Phoenix as part of a three -team agreement with Converge and receiving Ambohot des Fiberxers in the process.
