The way things stand, PLDT establishes its PVL dynasty. And even a foreign team could not stop the high -speed strikers.
Bucking Early Lodning and a big challenge from a young Kobe Shinwa University in Japan, high -speed strikers finished another perfect title race on Sunday evening, this time by pocketing the crown of the conference on the invitation less than a month after their perception.
With the pride of local volleyball in play, the PLDT joined the end of the two sets in the middle to dodge the upset ax and deny Kobe Shinwa, 21-25, 31-29, 25-22, 25-18, in their winning-vain-Vainqueur final at Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Savi Davison led high -speed strikers to a second consecutive championship, while PLDT became the first team in the rich history of PVL to sweep away consecutive tournaments.
Davison paid 20 points above 18 excellent receptions and nine excavations, his heroic at the end of the second set turning critical.
Kianna Dy also increased on the occasion, argued the Canadian Filipino striker with 17 points which had four blocks, highlighted by the rejection of the title link.
Two weeks withdrawn from their first PVL title in the tour, Davison and Co. has always played with the hunger necessary for another championship and extended their undefeated race at 13 games.
It was not as simple as their first meeting when they swept the Japanese team, who had an average of 19, 25-20, 25-22, 25-23, in the preliminary round.
But PLDT has always found a way to defend the lawn at home, leaping on the Kobe Shinwa towers.
High-speed strikers erased a 21-19 deficit in the third frame before Kobe Shinwa tied it at 22. Dell Palomata broke the link with a quick attack before Davison AS and Malaluan’s block put them at the dawn of another championship with a 2-1 advance.
With the momentum on the side, PLDT displayed its killer instinct in the fourth while Dy and Palomata led the high-speed strikers to a propagation of 17-12.
Palomata and Malaluan, who missed the tour due to the tasks unfortunately Pilipinas, brought the high-speed strikers closer to the title with a propagation of 23-14.
Mika Reyes sent her team to the 24-16 championship point, which Dy converted with this block.
Malaluan, the recruit, finished with 15 points. In the final of the tour, the MVP Reyes had 12 points. Kim Fajardo launched 29 excellent sets at the top of three points, while Kath Arado had 22 excavations.

Nagisa Komatsuda, the best spiker outside, led the Japanese with 22 points. Kokoro Yasuma and Reira Miyazaki had 14 and 11 points respectively.
Sakura Furuta was greeted as the best setter and delivered 31 excellent sets.
Bronze medalists
After missing the final of the second consecutive tournament, Creamline has always left everything on the ground, dominating Chery Tiggo, 25-15, 25-13, 25-22, for the bronze medal-the 19th consecutive podium of the club.
The consecutive consecutive finishes with that of the current tour, motivated Creamline.
“Our motivation has always been to win the championship,” said Creamline coach Sherwin Menesses at the Inquirer in Philippin. “We will appreciate third place, but we also challenge ourselves to return to a higher place on the podium (next conference).” Inq
