Mandaue City, Cebu-Adamson dominated the rival of the UAAP Ateneo, 25-15, 26-24, 25-14, and finished a scan of three games to govern the Super League (SSL) of the 2025 Super League here.
Shaina Nitura led another attack balanced by the Lady Falcons, who have proven that their team was not only the offensive prowess of the recruit of the year of season 87 of the UAAP.

“At that moment, I really appreciated the game. I just followed everything that the coach told me to do, all the instructions. God thank you, the plan worked and the wisdom that God gave to the coach really borne fruit,” said Nitura in Philippin.
“Our state of mind was really not to relax. We all know that once you have given the team, they can really take off. So, as much as possible, our goal was to give all our sets, the chances that we had.
The 20 -year -old outdoor striker finished with 23 points out of 15 eliminations, four blocks and four aces, being praised as the best player on the Visayas leg.
On Friday, Nitura broke out for 28 points in her four -set victory against the champion of Céfi Champion of the University of San Carlos before leaving 15 years against the Foundation of the University of South Philippines in direct domination.
“I thank God for the way my players have played. I am grateful that we have obtained three consecutive victories in this tournament. I am really proud of the girls, and that makes me happy to see them do little progress,” said Lady Falcons coach, JP Yude, who also led the Lady Baby Falcons with Nitura in the Volley-Ball League.
After winning the 10-point opening set, Adamson abandoned an advantage of 23-20 after Zey Pacia equaled to Ateneo propelled by a strong departure in the second frame.
Nitura pierced a killing of the rear row to reach the point of order, 24-23, but Pacia equalized it with an out -of -block blow – only to make an expensive service error – followed by the AS of Lhouriz Tuddao for Adamson which sealed the head in two sets.
Tuddao marked the timely blows in the third time to set up a gap of 19-9 before Nitura reunites their perfect race with six unanswered points.
Frances MORDI collected 12 points. Tuddao finished with seven, while the recruit Abby Segui added five, with Fei Sagaysay, distributing seven excellent sets.
“We are going to take this as a chance to continue to improve as a team, because our trip does not stop here. It is in fact that the beginning and part of our preparation for the UAAP,” said Nitura. “If other opportunities arise, we will seize them and take advantage of each experience.”
Adamson’s sweeping presented the finalist to the USC, which upset Ateneo on Saturday evening.
Ateneo was satisfied with third place with an end of 1-2 in the 2-day three-day leg in Cebu.
The Blue Eagles were led by the 15 points of Pacia. Faye Nisperos has scored nine points.

SSL, which had a national university as champion of the Davao leg, finished its three national invitationals tournaments in Luzon with the University of Extraction of the UAAP, the NCAA Champion College of Saint Benilde and the finalist Letran, and welcome the University of Batangas of August 29-31.
