The Pentagon Intelligence Agency was dismissed, a decision that the best democrat of the Senate Intelligence Committee condemned Friday as the last example of information politicization under the administration of President Donald Trump.

“The dismissal of another senior national security official underlines the dangerous habit of the Trump administration to process information as a loyalty test rather than a safeguard of our country,” said US senator Mark Warner, vice-president of the Senate Senate Information Committee.

Lieutenant-general Jeffrey Kruse, who directed the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), could not be joined immediately to comment. The Pentagon did not respond to a request for comments. The dismissal was reported for the first time by the Washington Post.

This decision marks the latest example of the Trump administration penalizing current and former officials of intelligence, intelligence and the application of laws whose opinions have faced Trump.

Although it is not clear why Kruse was deleted, the decision follows an evaluation disclosed of the DIA which indicated that the American air strikes on three Iranian nuclear installations on June 22 had handed over the Tehran program only a few months. This contradicted Trump’s assertion that targets were “erased.”

The flight, which Reuters also confirmed, made Trump furious. The White House denounced the top secret assessment as “flat pain”, and Trump was unleashed at CNN, New York Times and other points of sale that reported it, calling them “scum” and “false news”.
