Nlex and Blackwater displayed contrasting victories on the other PBA teams to start their respective campaigns in the Kadayawan Basketball Tournament on Thursday in Davao City.
The Road Warriors resisted the return of The Converge Fiberxers, 95-88, while the boss previously beaten the Phoenix Fuel Masters and their new coach Willy Wilson, 94-81, at the Gym of the University of Southeast of the Philippines.

The three of Richie Rodger broke an equality of 88 with 1:31 to do in the fourth quarter, helping to propel Nlex to Victory Over Converge, which returned from a two -digit deficit behind Alec Stockton.
Sedrick Barefield, on the other hand, sparked Blackwater’s traction in the last period with three consecutive triples after Phoenix arrived in the three, 68-65.
The results placed the two teams in the early example of the four -day invitation organized as part of the city’s 40th Kadayawan festival.
They will compete Thursday in the same place to have a chance to close on the championship match while Phoenix and Converge opt for their first victory in the Riderain raised at 5 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The two best teams after the calendar in one round will play in the Sunday championship match while the last two will meet for third place.
The four PBA teams use the tournament as part of the 50th season preparations that goes on October 5.
