Manila, Philippines – Kianna Dy finally won her very first PVL title which came after an exhausting recovery of a right knee injury that she suffered almost two years ago.

“Coming to Pldt was easy because I was with them (Majoy, Kim and Mika Reyes). And also and not only because of them, but the whole PLDT team was very welcoming and very patient with us entering their team, “she said. “Being with Majoy and having eaten Kim facilitated the task because I am a teammate with them from the university, so such a good feeling of winning a championship with them again.”
Winning its first PVL title will not stop Dy and the high -speed strikers as they try to assert their mastery of crossings when opening Thursday invitations, where they will also face the Japanese teams, Kurashiki Ablaze and Kobe Shinwa University.
“This is a new conference and two new teams, so we will simply work hard in training and bring what we have obtained here, bring confidence to invitations,” she said.
