Since his official appointment as a chief coach of Gilas Pilipinas, Tim Cree has clearly indicated that the national team strictly adheres to a long-term program that will lead to the FIBA 2027 World Cup and the Los Angeles Olympic Games the following year.
This is why the veteran tactician is categorical on the maintenance of his basin of talented players even after their elimination in the quarter -finals of the Asia Cup of the FIBA 2025.
It was, of course, before Quinton Millora-Brown became eligible on Friday.

Millora-Brown only played one season with the University of the Philippines and helped the chestnuts to fight in the UAAP title in the room. He adapted to Macao Black Bears in a friendly match against the Nationals and showed his value as an international player.
And with the first window of Asian qualifications of the 2027 World Cup to play in February, CONE can have more than enough great men after Sotto Returns and Edu and Fajardo also there.
But for the moment, until everything is official on the side of Millora-Brown, Cone will continue to stick to its grainy group.
