New York – Each NBA team will have at least two national television games this season, confirmed the League on Thursday as part of its complete disclosure program for 2025-26.
The reason: there are simply more national games than ever, now than the new $ 76 billion agreements in the League with ABC-ESPN, NBC-Peacock and Amazon Prime Video are about to officially start.
There will be 247 games planned for these networks this season, against 172 last season between ABC, ESPN and TNT.

American election day

The NBA, which did not play on ballot in 2022, 2023 or 2024, will have matches on this date this season. He fell on November 4.
The NBA champion Oklahoma City Thunder plays the Clippers of Los Angeles as part of the six game list on this date.

The NBA still plans to have no games on the electoral days during the mid-term and presidential electoral years, which would not mean any match on these dates in 2026 or 2028.
NCAA Championship
There will be matches this season on April 6, the day of the Men’s National Basketball Championship match in Indianapolis.
Atlanta, Orlando, Memphis, San Antonio and Denver all have reception matches on this date. The Knicks in Atlanta are the Peacock game.
There were two games on the day of the NCAA title last season, breaking the unofficial tradition of the League not playing that night.
Last day of the regular season
The last day of the regular season is April 12, and the 30 teams will play. But the League is receding the start hours; All the matches took place at 1 p.m. or 3:30 p.m. it was last season, and it will either be 6 p.m. or 8:30 p.m. this season.
An advantage of this: all the matches will end, and some will be played in their entirety, after the end of the final putt during the final round of the Masters at the Augusta National Golf Club the same day. Masters generally end around 7 p.m. to the east.
The 30 teams will also play on Friday April 10. There are no games on Saturday April 11. The game tournament begins on April 14.
Marquee game protection
The league has once again tried this season to minimize the backs (the average is just under 15 of these teams) in order to maintain the teams as rested as possible.
This rule will also apply to marquee games. No team will play the day before the opening week, the NBA Cup tournament, Christmas day (nobody plays on December 24), the four games on Peacock or NBC on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the 10 -game Calendar on Saturday ABC, the Calendar of eight Sunday games ABC or the Sunday Calendar of 11 NBC games.
80 games, for now
As usual, all teams will play 82 regular season games. The schedules published this week listen only to 80, because the two remaining slots will be filled according to the way the teams rejoice in a tournament around during the NBA Cup.
The NBA Cup championship match in Las Vegas will not count again in the calendar of these teams, because it would technically push its total of season to 83 games.

Luka Doncic and the Los Angeles Lakers will face his former team, the Dallas Mavericks, four times this season.
The games in Dallas are January 24 (on ABC) and April 5 (on NBC / Peacock). The games in Los Angeles are November 28 (on bonus) and February 12 (on bonus).
Revenge of the NBA finals
Oklahoma City and Indiana will not wait long for the revenge of the NBA finals last season. The Thunder went to Indianapolis on October 23.
The Pacers return to Oklahoma City on January 23.
New television offers
For the most part, the national television calendar of the NBA in 2025-26 will generally include Monday on Peacock, Tuesdays on NBC, Wednesday on ESPN, Thursdays on Prime Video, Fridays on Prime Video and ESPN, Saturday on Prime Video in the afternoon and ABC at night, and Sunday on ABC in the afternoon and NBC in the evening.
