Manila, Philippines-Despite the fall of a deficit into two sets, Zus Coffee never hesitated and turned to Chinnie Arroyo and Jov Gonzaga to overcome Choco Mucho, 22-25, 20-25, 25-16, 25-17, 15, and complete PVL on the distribution of quarter-final of the tour on Tuesday evening at Philsports Arena.
Arroyo broke out for 21 points, hammering 20 striking attacks, while Gonzaga finished the return of the Thunderbèlles by scoring five of his 16 points in the fifth set.

The veteran in front of Spiker gave the Thunderbelles an early 11-6 in the fifth before the consecutive blocks of Fiola Ceballos and AC Miner sent them to the match point, 14-7. The Titans Flying scored three consecutive points, but Gonzaga pierced the winning hit of the match to prevail in the two -hour match.
Gonzaga succeeded in 13 striking attacks and seven excavations for the fourth victory of Zus Coffee in five five setters this pre-season, spoiling the summit in the career of Isa Molde for Choco Mucho.

“We are super grateful, first of all, to management, who never doubted us. They kept telling us to give our best and let God manage the rest, so everything was really worth it,” said Gonzaga in Philippin.

“Huge credit to coaches staff for the way they managed us on the field. I am really grateful because it is already my second conference here and we have already made two appearances in the quarter -finals, so it shows that all our hard work in the training is to bear fruit. I am also very grateful for the relationship we have as a team.

On Thursday, Zus Coffee faces another direct elimination match against the undefeated PLDT in the same place in Pasig City.
Clo Mondoñedo launched 22 excellent sets. AC Miner had 14 points, including four blocks, while Kate Santiago and Fiola Ceballos added 10 points each with the latter by nailing four blocks.
“I am always proud when I see an improvement. It is something that makes us happy and proud, and I hope it continues,” said Zus Coffee Jerry Yee in Philippin. “We have essentially more talent, but we are not yet a full team. We have big names, I have more options for submarines, we are about eight or nine depth players. But it is still not enough. We are not yet consistent. We are not yet a solid team. We are trying, however.”
Choco Mucho has lost five consecutive games to end pre-season despite the 23 mildew attacks, three blocks and an ace above the 14 excellent receptions.
Royse Tubino had 17 points. Ayesha Juegos had 11 points and 10 excavations, while Cherry Nunag added 10.
