The Buckingham Palace is strangely silent after shocking revelations on Queen Camilla’s relationship with Prince Harry, a silence that speaks volumes about the current tensions within the royal family. Psychologist Lara Ferreiro analyzed the complex relationship between Camilla and Harry, highlighting a “very cold period of coexistence” which defined their interactions. According to Ferreiro, Camilla has intentionally kept his distance from Harry, avoiding conflicts but never making a concerted effort to build a relationship. “Camilla never forced a link with Harry because she did not want to cause more rejection,” explains Ferreiro. However, for Harry, Camilla remained a symbol of the break of the family. Although they seemed cordial during public events, any truce was purely superficial.
Harry’s continuing struggle with Diana’s inheritance
Harry’s relationship with Camilla is deeply influenced by her idealization of her late mother, Diana, princess of Wales. According to Ferreiro, Harry believes that kissing Camilla would mean betraying his mother’s memory. This internal conflict has fueled Harry’s hard words and resentment, which he expressed in the interviews and his memories. “Camilla is dangerous”, “she left the bodies along the way” and “she was the villain”, are some of the cup remarks that Harry made about her mother-in-law.
In his memories, Harry also detailed the emotional turmoil he associates with Camilla. Ferreiro notes that Harry’s mourning process remains unresolved, and he holds Camilla responsible for a large part of his pain.
Camilla’s silence and the uncertain future
Despite the current tension, Camilla remained diplomatic, choosing not to intervene publicly in Harry’s conflicts with Charles and his brother William. However, this silence did not soften the fractured relationship. “Camilla will never respond through the media and Harry’s injury remains open,” concludes Ferreiro.
The psychologist suggests that there is no sign of future reconciliation, because Harry remains in a continuous struggle, while Camilla maintains his silence. The Buckingham Palace, looking at a distance, has not yet publicly approached the in -depth family divide, which could influence the relationship between Harry and Charles III.
