Katy Perry was seen enjoying a dinner with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in Montreal, arousing the curiosity of the nature of their relationship. The 40 -year -old pop star and the 53 -year -old politician were photographed sharing an intimate meal at the high -end restaurant Le Violin, according to photos obtained by Tmz.
In the photos, Perry seemed to be fully engaged in the conversation, leaning on the table while chatting with Trudeau. An eyewitness described how the two, accompanied by security, appreciated cocktails and a selection of dishes, including lobster. At one point, the chef was even left to speak with the duo, and after their meal, they went to the kitchen to personally thank the staff.
Perry is currently in Canada for his tour, with representations planned in Ottawa and Montreal. Meanwhile, she recently confirmed her separation from the longtime fiancé Orlando Bloom, with whom she shares a girl, Daisy Dove. The couple had been together for more than 10 years before announcing their separation earlier this month.
Despite the breakup, Perry and Bloom were seen on a comfortable family photo with their daughter shortly after their split. The pair had a tumultuous relationship on the march and offbeat, initially dating in 2016, separating briefly in 2017, then reviving their romance in 2018.
As for Trudeau, he announced his separation from his wife, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, in 2023 after 18 years of marriage. The former couple shares three children: Xavier, Ella-Grace and Hadrien.
