The pilot of the Nascar Cup series, Kyle Larson, was not sure of what he could have done elsewhere so as not to destroy Justin Allgaier from the Xfinity series on Saturday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. While speaking with fronttttch, the pilot Hendrick Motorsports recalled how things went between them during the closing towers of the 100 laps.
Larson found Allgaier outside after late restart with 14 laps to do. The duo ran away from each other in the initial corners, but Larson detached himself at the exit of the turn 2. His car pushed Allgaier, who then struck the outside wall directly.
While Algaier had to be satisfied with a DNF and, thereafter, a disappointing P36 finish, Kyle Larson managed to save a finish among the first five. But he didn’t look very happy given how everything turned out to the end.
“The one where I entered him (Allgaier), I was almost clear, and yes, he was just able to go to my right back and to withdraw,” said Larson. “He sort of drove me quite quickly, where he just took enough air on my right side, where I was just a little for the journey there.” (0:40)
“I was trying to miss him, but unfortunately I went up in him. You hate that it happens … Honestly, I don’t really know what I could have done differently,” he added.
Then for Kyle Larson is the race of the Cup series at 2.5-miler. Appointed the Brickyard 400, the event is scheduled for Sunday, July 27. Fans can watch it live on TNT Sports or listen to its radio coverage on Siriusxm Nascar radio.

Justin Allgaier could have brought his 100th series to his team. But everything collapsed when Kyle Larson destroyed the JR Motorsports driver. Although obviously unhappy, Allgaier did not show fingers to the champion of the 2021 Cup series.
During a post-course interview in Indianapolis on Saturday, said the defending champion of the Xfinity series,
“I don’t know, I’m going to have to go back and watch it. I don’t really have much to say about it now. ”
“This place is simply special and I am disappointed. Physically, I am 100%; mentally, I am at 1%, because I am so frustrated and disappointed, and there is really nothing that I can do,” added Allgaier.
Despite the results, Allgaier is currently leading in series classification with 750 points in his name, 21 ahead of Connor Zilisch, his teammate and winner on Saturday. Their next race is at Iowa Speedway on August 2. Named Hyvee Perks 250, the functionality of 250 laps will be televised on CW with radio updates on MRN and Siriusxm Radio Nascar from 4.30 p.m. he.
